Family run restaurant almost opposite the Skiathos Princess, large food portions, neither my wife or I could finish or main courses and we should have just had starters and 1 main course between us. Reasonable prices. Quick service.

Expected more from a longstanding family run restaurant.First off we were caught out with the bread on the table trick, then charged â¬1.50 euros each (2 adults and a 7 year old).They say they offer half portions for kids, so we ordered a kids margarita pizza. It was a round pitta bread with cheese on top, and they charged full price for it. Awful. Remember the old findus French bread pizzas? It was a bit like that! My moussaka was disappointing.They also brought out our main courses before the starters were cleared, so just shoved the starter plates on a nearby wall then walked away and left them. Then we had to wait about half an hour for the main meal to be cleared and get the bill.Feels like ma & pa are struggling to keep up, this was probably great in itâs hay day but really not up to scratch against the other local tavernas.

Looked at reviews and visited the restaurant. Absolutely fantastic. Service wonderful. The portion sizes are enormous. For a starterI had grilled halloumi and this was served with the best salad I have ever eaten. This was followed with sea bream. Truly gorgeous. My husband ordered the shredded chicken and he described it as really tasty. He followed this with BBQ ribs and the portion size was enormous. Donât leave Skiathos without a visit here.

This is by far our favourite taverna, the food is always tasty and fresh. The wine is very lovely too. All staff are polite and attentive. If you want excellent Greek food then this is the place to visit. It is located about a 5 minute walk from bus stop 16 behind the mini market.

We really like this restaurant, they welcome you back with a complimentary Ouzo, always goes down well. The food here is great, the waiters are very friendly, the vegetables are especially goodWe all enjoyed our food and had 2 good visits this holiday

This is quite an inexpensive restaurant that has the most delightful views. The food is excellent quality and the staff are fantastic - they take their time and give you personalised attention. Make sure you go before sunset to take avantage of the great views.

We had heard good things about Johnny's and on our first night thought it would be good to go there. Unfortunately we hadn't booked and couldn't get a table. We noticed throughout our stay in Skiathos that there were always tables free but no-one could just walk in. The menu looked good, albeit a bit expensive compared to where we ate in Skiathos Town, and the restaurant is only open evenings. Not what we expect in Greece!Dear madameFirst of all ,thank you for your reviewWe would like to remind you that our reservations are made 1-2 days in advance and we try to please our customers as much as possible. giving customers a table that is available only for an hour ... pushing them to rush without enjoying their dinner .. is considered inappropriate and unprofessional. Maistrali is along a narrow road off the main road through Agia Paraskevi. It is set within large grassed grounds which provide easy parking. Service was prompt and helpful. My starter, Stuffed Mushrooms was tasty, however my main course - home made Moussaka was both very dry and unappetising and poorly presented. The house wine was very good. We were each given a free piece of great chocolate cake with our bill.

Although I enjoyed my meal here (allowed me to order for children's menu); my husband was very disappointed with the limited menu. Although not much choice, the food he had was well cooked and served and he did enjoy it, Lovely setting with twice weekly live music.
