We made a reservation for dinner via Faceboook and received a confirmation that our reservation was accepted. When we showed up at the restaurant, we were told very vociferously that they do not accept reservations even though I showed them the confirmation on my phone. Not sure if it is a language miscommunication. I could see that there was a table with a reservation sign on it. Decided to change tactics and asked them for a table for 7 people and they sat me at that table. Not sure what is going on.Food was delicious, wine was good and the portions very large. The prices are extremely reasonable. Highly recommended but be careful of the reservation issue. I see another reviewer had a similar experience.

The restaurant was very comfortable, quirky decor, great music. Whilst we are not vegetarians it was good to try something different. The veggie burger was okay but could have benefited from a bit more flavour in my opinion. Service was good, waiter friendly and informative.

We turned up in a large group on the spur of the moment and they were extremely accommodating- moving tables, helping with separate ordering and billing for 5 families! A lovely setting where the kids can play on the beach if they finish while the adults eat at a more leisurely pace.

Great setting on a small square with comfortable outside seating.Very friendly staff and great service.Menu has something for everyone but not a huge selection which was helped us make our choices.Definitely worth the walk to get there and enjoy a pretty setting in the old town.

Disappointed after reading so many good reviews. The Duck Bruschetta was bread with small slices of duck, not a tomato in sight, more like canapés. The Monk Fish Cagaru starter looked great but was inconsistent in temperature throughout - perhaps regenerated. Our burgers were good but the potatoes were inconsistent in temperature too. The bun was sesame not brioche. We made the restaurant aware of the temperature issue & they kindly offered us complimentary desserts/coffee which was appreciated.

My wife and I went twice and got the same wine. Great suggestion. âDry mineral white from Croatiaâ. Great on the terrace with some bread, cheese, and truffle chips. KujundžuÅ¡a grape.

Visited here last week and so glad we did. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We had soup to start then we both had the steak cooked on the stone. Could not fault it for flavour plus price. Highly recommend

Spent a whole evening with my 7 friends at Konoba Nikola! I made the reservation 2 days before with is to recommend! The Location is a little bit of but really worth the trip! We felt very welcomed when we arrived at the resturant, the food was beyond our expectations! Superfresh seafood with compliments that really tasted like a high class restaurant(trust me,all of my friends work as chefs!) the wine was ok, nothing special and not a surprise! We had the 4 course meny with extra conpliments. Good prices to I would highly recommend this place!

While passing on the way to Split, we stopped for lunch.A reasonable restaurant in cleanliness and accommodation (by European Union standards), but we were served by an unfriendly gentleman very unpatient for our questions and inquiries in English!The food was ok... maybe not that great for the price.It is an option for a stopover on the go.

Me and my wife read in local newspaper that Basta pizza is excellent, so we decided to give it a shot, we were really astonished by pizzas we got, crust was exactly on spot, soft and thin, very rich with ingredients , actually its was best pizza that i have ever eaten, its a bit pricey place but considering location, and pizza quality its worth every dime spent. I will visit your place again, be sure!! regardsWe are happy you gave Basta a try and enjoyed the experience and our pizza.
