Sparta doesn't have a lot of options, but Cloveberry is one that we constantly return to. Small menu of items for
light breakfast and lunch, but everything is tasty and homemade. (the white chocolate raspberry muffins are to die for) Family run, it is a perfect place for a coffee, tea or , smoothie or a quick meal for friends. A busy place!

Despite the outward appearance being slightly run-down looking due to the old building, Alpine Creamery does not disappoint. The ice cream ( many favors) is all home made and all fabulous. Lots of flavors, served in your choice of cone or cup, shakes, toppings, etc. they have soft serve too, but you'd be crazy not to try one of their many flavors.
Open seasonally.

Freshly roasted coffee beans yield the best coffee. That is what you will get at Greene's Beans. I buy my coffee from the Sparta & Hackettstown stores exclusively. The people who serve there are always sociable and helpful. There is a extensive loose tea selection, also. The section of Japanese cast iron tea pots is good and they make a great gift.

The Mohawk House is beautiful; the food is delicious; the service is excellent. However, the prices for me mean that this is a destination for special events only. That's ok. There aren't that many high-end restaurants in our area. BTW, be prepared to have your car valet parked, too.

A fun place for all ages, especially if you are looking for an "ice cream" experience without so much of the "bad" stuff. Lots of choices in this frozen yogurt establishment. Always willing to let you take a taste before you buy. Routinely change flavors but the basics are always there as well. Fill your own cup is a great idea, as you can put as much or as little as you'd like. I believe the price is 52-cents an ounce. Outstanding number of topping choices (there has to be 50 or more). Kid friendly, with colorful chairs and numerous cartoon-tuned TVs all around. Always clean. Plenty of parking. Outdoor benches for those summer nights. Enjoy.

We went with a friend who was visiting us and I had the chicken fingers, they were very over cooked - bone dry, my spouse and house guest were satisfied with their meals. Will I go back no - there are too many excellent restaurants in Sussex NJ.

This was our first time here. Krogh's was recommended to us by friends and we were not disappointed at all. The staff was efficient and friendly. The food was great with a lot of different choices. Also offered craft brews; however, we did not try any this time. Will definitely be back.

Enjoyed the chicken schnitzel with lemon and white wine sauce and add-on of wood-grilled shrimp served with "real" mashed potatoes. Delicious! Service was great! Restaurant is set in a picturesque Switzerland style village on Lake Mohawk and a wedding reception was at the Country Club, a castle-like structure.
