We loved the place, great setting with a view over the valley, excellent service, very good wines and great food! We had various starters and they we all outstanding. So far the best restaurant we have been to in Peloponnes.

This is a pleasant, casual restaurant on one of the main streets in Sparta with a comfortable interior and delightful courtyard behind the restaurant, away from the noise of the street. The food is typical "home-made" and all dishes are plentiful and tasty.
The cooking and wait staff are pleasant and friendly, and the service is excellent. An added bonus to the outdoor eating is the presence of turtles of various sizes which wander around freely and enjoy being hand-fed lettuce which is happily provided by the restaurant staff.
Not a high end restaurant, but good for casual dining.
Recommended.

We went with my family for a trip to Taygetos mountain, near Sparta. The trip was very interesting and it got even more interesting when we found this restaurant. The food was absolutely perfect and the position of the restaurant was very convenient after our trip to Taygetos.

we came to this restaurant after visiting Mystras touristic sites for lunch.
very nice location and athmosphere, good breeze, the lady who took care of us, must be the owner, was superb, she was everywhere, in the kitchen, in the bar, near the tables, always supervising and monitoring everything, and so evrything was really very good, and we had a really enjoyable lunch, bravo

1. the only non smoking restaurant in Sparti
2. great food and good value for money
3. they can handle everything while busy
Aggeliki is one of the best waitress, smooth, relaxed, fast and with a great smile
Definitely try the grilled sardines, the anchovies and the zucchini balls

We traveled through Sparta on our way to Monemvasia. Took a detour to the ruins at Mystras. We stopped here for lunch. It was wonderful food. The pizza is fabulous. Would recommend to anyone who is in Sparta.....

Special of the day home cooked meals like coq au vin, wild greens, beef stew just to name a few, and of course dessert. We can accommodate groups and private parties for up to 60 people.

We had lunch at the restaurant and the food was extremely good! The salads were very fresh with great dressing, the main course very tasty and we tried the cake which was superb. Nice fresh air sitting on the porch and very friendly service.

It's in the middle of the the main square, in an attractive building. The service was slow but pleasant. I ordered a mushroom risotto, which was close to being excellent but just a bit undercooked. It came with a little arugula salad, and the rolls were quite good.
