Really nice restaurant and lovely to sit outside in a quiet and nice area. We both went for the sirloin which was delicious, however the vegetables on the side could have been a bit more generous, but thats a question of appetite. The staff is also very friendly and makes you feel welcome from the moment you step in. One feedback to improve is the cost of the bread basket. We had two small pieces of bread which were then listed on the bill as approximately 4 euros. Either, customers should be asked if they want any or they should be made aware. Overall a really lovely experience and looking forward to returning. We would like to highlight that the price of the "bread" includes; olives, all i oli and sourdough bread. We try to prepare our bread at the last moment otherwise with this heat and high humidity the taste could change very fast. The price of the "bread basket" is on the menu and we as a standard procedure we ask the clients if they want it or not. We went to El Castillo on opening night. Really enjoyed the ambiance. It is a tastefully setup restaurant, with great care for detail. Also the food and staff all wonderful. We really enjoyed it. Also the fact they try and do everything to limit the environmental impact is worth mentioning. Very nice and welcoming owners who make you feel at home (or like in Rome). Really good starters and excellent meat. And the typical Italian dishes of course, for example Bucatini Amatriciana which is so good. Nice wines recomended by the owner, both Italian and Mallorcan. We had 2 very enjoyable meals here as a family during a recent stay in Bunyola. Picanha and Solomillo steaks were both beautiful cuts of meat, perfectly cooked. Iberico pork was also fantastic, as was the duck! Starters including ceviche, tuna tartare and razor clams were also excellent. We were well looked after by the staff, and we were recommended a lovely bottle of local Syrah on our second visit. Highly recommended!
