Fuimos un grupo a comer y hubo división de opiniones. Algunas cosas del menú estaban buenas y otras normales, comerdor dentro del bar con muy poco espacio. Habrá que repetir en primavera

Lugar bien ubicado y fuimos por los buenos comentarios pero tomándonos unas cervezas lo que vimos no nos gustó.La cocina donde hacÃan las ensaladas, fritos y demás comandas a la plancha lo dirigÃa una sola persona la cual manipulaba los alimentos sin lavarselas entre manipulaciones ya que trataba pinchos con adobo por un lado, a la vez estaba cortandl tomates, posteriormente filetes de cerdo crudos con la mano, seguidamente panecillos....También pudimos observar en la freidora que hacian las croquetas y empanadillas de aperitivos (eramos dos y el aperitivo eran dos mini croquetas) seguidamente ponÃa a freir los pinchos morunos.Para acabar, lo que nos hizo irnos y decidir no cenar allà fue que con la balleta con la que limpiaba las tablas donde cortaba la carne cruda limpiaba como si fuese un estropajo para limpiar el plato del microondas.

This was our first visit to RascafrÃa with friends staying from U.K. It took 20 minutes to get a drink when we first arrived. We had 25⬠menú. Risotto OK but very lukewarm, the steak was mostly fat, the potatoes cold. Bread was included in the price but we were not given any. Overall the service was very poor. Given the number of restaurants in RascafrÃa we will not be dining here again on our next visit.

Just a short drive from Madrid, we often go here to get out of the city and enjoy the mountains and countryside. The food is traditional and well prepared. Portions are hearty, so save room for desert. We especially like it during the winter season.

The owners of El Candil could not have made us feel more welcome. We were able to communicate through the Spanish-English language barrier, thanks in great part to their patience and hospitality. We had the duck as well as dessert, and everything was wonderful! The place is well set up and beautifully decorated - very classy!After dinner, the hosts shared a drink with us on the house and we chatted about our vacation and where we came from, where they'd been - very accommodating and friendly people. This was our last meal on our vacation, and they helped us finish off a great vacation on high spirits. We were so thankful for their hospitality and great food!

Nice restaurant, located in Peñalara Park National, with large green area, outdoor terrace with children's playground, ideal location to carry out green routes, and access to visit the monastery. It offers group menus, menus for weekends and daily days.

From every holiday I give 1 or 2 reviews of a hotel. This time in the siërra de Guaderrama. This hotel looked friendly from the outside when we passed , and that impression was fully true. We stayed only 1 night, because we were making a roundtrip, the room was clean and bright, good beds, clean bathroom, simple furniture but sufficient facilities, and very helpful owners. You can sit outside in the shadow or sun, there is a simple playground for children and this all for a cheap price. You can park near the hotel, the gate is closed at nightThe restaurant was closed for weekly closure, so we had only breakfast spanah: pan with fresh tomato

We went to Conchi for lunch three times during our vacation and each time the dishes were delicious. Its hidden in a small side street about 200m from the main square in Rascafria. They have an indoor dining room which we did not go to as it was sunny and we prefered to sit on the covered terrace. They serve very typical local food which also includes dishes prepared with blood sausage. If you do not like it and as the menu is only in Spanish its good to know the word

If you are looking for something straight and honest this is the place. All their cooking is based on local grown products. Special mention to the meat, grilled perfectly. Very friendly staff and attentive. You have two options, the restaurant side for more formal eating and the terrace and bar area where you can enjoy same food but much more informal. I recommend.

Nice setting and atmosphere, good food and service. As English-speakers with only serviceable Spanish, we struggeld a bit with the menu and waiter, but a pleasant experience noetheless.
