We went to Rustin twice and both times it was awesome. I had the sirloin steak and it was cooked perfectly as well as being a very good size. The service was great and very friendly too. Definitely recommended

We have been here many times over many years and the food, staff and service is as excellent as ever. We are greeted like old friends and it seems many others come back year after year as they too are greeted in the same way. I'd recommend the chateaubriand for two.

Great food! Amazing service and on top a wonderful view of the ocean. This is the place where the go the extra mile to make you happy. We had dinner here twice in a week, first for my parents anniversary and the just because. Both times was perfect. The food is really great- everything we tried: but especially the steak and the lasagna. A must is to enjoy the sunset! Will be back.Dear aikenBergEide,Thank you very much for your nice review. We happened upon this place during a day out to Arg from Puerto Rico. The menu threw us a bit, lunch menu, and a choice of 400 wines ? Confused. The host explained, the chefs have worked in Michelin star kitchens, and they are "as the name says" a tasting restaurant. Well, blow me, in Arg ? this cannot be right, so I said it will be expensive and bad, how wrong. Focaccia - small, quaint, different, home made, superb. Suviche - Fresh fruit, fish, marinated in lime. My wife loved it.Wild mushroom croquettes - superb, no better. Wines advised by the host to match the food, â¬5 a glass or â¬4 if you drink the bottles he opened yesterday. For me, a wine lover, this is the place to be. Desert, sorbet and sweet wine, brilliant.Coffee, honey run, all in all a superb afternoon for â¬80We will be trying an evening taste sensation.Thank you so much for your lovely words!I am happy that we could "convince" you :-)I hope to see you here for dinner sometime.

Visited on basis of great TripAdvisor rating on the Monday of Hols only to find it closes that day. Returning on the Wednesday, we received a warm welcome and despite not booking, a table was found for us.Drinks sorted out, menu viewed and we decided on having starters of 5 Tapas between the three of us - real mistake as these are pretty large portions. We had:Black pudding (Local made with almonds (7 good sized slices which tasted lovely)Garlic Bread with Aleoli- 8 piecesCanarian Potatoes - 15 mixed size Potatoes - beautifulChorizo & onions - fabulous tasting in a large bowl and were almost a meal in themselves.For mains, I had Salmon with a mint sauce and vegetables. A combination I would never have thought would go together. In fact, as presented it didn't. The salmon was delicious, a large fillet but absolutely covered in a thick cream sauce which had only a hint of mint - not at all nice. When I scraped the sauce off, the meal became tasty and the mint presence complemented the fish - please chef, don't overdo the sauce and especially the heavy cream constituent.The other two diners had Scampi which both described as dry, bland and tasteless. Major issue was the coating on the pretty large pieces of Scampi. They found it was so dry as to be inedible but removed from each piece, the Scampi itself was not too bad.Good starters and perhaps unfortunate choice of mains left us undecided about a return visit.

This roof top bar and restaurant offers the ideal place to sea the sun go down with spectacular views of the bay. Allow time for a lovely cocktail (or two) to study the menu as the sun sets.A diverse choice of dishes well presented with good service. Good but expensive.

We have holidayed in Gran Canaria for over 25 years and have always just driven past this restaurant.How foolish we have been, we could have enjoyed many years of wonderful evenings like we had last night.The restaurant is simple, rustic and charming, a roaring open grill is the focal point and watching the hard working chef is like theatre. The elevated position ensured that the view was magnificent. The welcome we received from the staff was genuinely warm and friendly. All the food we ordered was delicious and arrived in good time. The grilled prawns starter were enormous! Entrecôte and beef tenderloin both perfectly cooked to our preference. Also, we were impressed with our bottle of white Rioja, an excellent local wine.We chatted a while to the staff and owner & explained how many times we had simply driven past but assured them, never again! As animal lovers, our lovely evening was perfectly rounded off with a game of stick throwing with the owners beautiful and extremely well behaved collie dog âLiaâThank you Cueva Pirata, we will see you again very soon.

Looking for somewhere special for a birthday meal, we could not have found a better place, hidden away in the Patalavaca cove, in a most inconspicuous hotel complex, this hotel opens out into the sunset with a greeting that matches anywhere with "a star". The staff were so welcoming ( and so many) that you feel immediately welcome, and the quality of the wine, food and service are hard to beat anywhere. The little touches to each dish, the surprise ingredients (such a frozen Foie Gras crumb that melted back into a delicious emulsion) made this one of the best meals ever. Not the cheapest place to eat on the island, but if want really good food, with really good wine, in a beautiful setting, then this is probably the best place in Gran canaria.

My husband and I have been going to Porto Rico for over 20 years and although we have tried some restuarant this is by far the best and we spent most evenings here, have got to know the staff, waiters. Chefs and the owner Marsuk and his brothers Asis, Karim, Who has his own business on the other side or Miami and serves fast food.If you see this Marzuk we are hoping to get back in the new year Fran and Trevor GibsonThanks for your comment.
