Needed a new place to eat out and took guidance from TripAdvisor. Absolutely delighted with Lokanta. The menu was extensive; the food excellent; the portions significant (a little much for us oldies) and the service exemplary. We enjoyed Octopus salad, Greek-style Moussaka and Chicken Tagine. Certainly no room left for dessert! We look forward to a return visit very soon to explore the menu further.Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review on your dining experience with us. We discovered this restaurant purely by chance and so pleased we did. The Houmous with Tahini is the best that we have ever eaten. The chicken dishes were absolutely delicious. We will certainly be returning to this restaurant that well deserves this five star rating.

We visited before a show at the Palace Theatre. The staff are warm and welcoming, happy to explain different dishes and ingredients. Lovely fresh food as usual. Lots of choice, cooked to order and very tasty. I had the whitebait to start (huge portion) my other half had the meatballs. We both had an oven baked dish for mains, mine was vegetarian-so tasty and very filling; he had a lamb one which was delicious. We also managed to squeeze in the complimentary baklava & Turkish tea. Thanks for another lovely meal

Thought about giving this place a go . lovely place to eat with good friends atmosphere was lovely .we had pornstar martini cocktail very nice what was there not to like decor really good waitress who we had gemma was perfect nothing was to much trouble she was good at her job and cant praise her enough Food was fantastic and plenty of it too .Looking at some previous reviews they say that your rushed and that is not the case so on that note i would ignore the negatives and read on the posatives .lovely place so give it a go

Lovely atmosphere, great food, attentive staff. Service was slow but thatâs because the food is cooked fresh to order - some of the kitchen being visible from the dining area.There were 4 in our party and we each had a different starters and main courses from the specials menu - no complaints from anyone!

Went here with a friend and we ordered off of the lunchtime menu. Great food, great deal and good service. I had the hot cheese for starter and kofte kebab for dinner, my friend had the sausage and then chicken shish Keenan and all were really good. The deal has a beer or soft drink with it, you had a choice of 4 beers, which I thought was good. Even better is the tray of dips and olives, the chilli sauce was really flavoursome and not too hot.
