The location is not in the city center, but it's situated close to one of the main boulevards: so it's not too crowded, but still easy to reach. The restaurant is big, it has an open air terrace and they recently extended the serving area to tables placed on grass. They also have a separated area dedicated to a playground - a slide, children house, trampoline and swings, plus a few tables for the parents watching the kids. Although the scenery is nothing but green hedgerow, this gives the place some privacy and quietness. And even if the open air is great during the summer, be aware of mosquitoes. Not sure if this is a common practice, but there was live music (we were there on weekend). Not bad, but a little too loud.I would have given the place a higher rating, but the service was terrible. There was a huge delay until we could order and another one until the drinks (not the food) were served. We have been served by four different waiters, there were items in the menu we could not order as they were missing, some beverages were forgotten from the order (we were only five persons), the beer was poorly poured, some drinks were spilled and the final bill was wrong.I cannot say much about food because we only had a family-size pizza and it was great. Other people seemed to like it as well. One tip: if you order a large pizza (about 1 kg), ask for the round (not square) one, as this will be served on a huge wooden trencher (kids love that).Related to prices - they were more than decent: a large pizza was under 10 EUR, 1.5 to 1.8 EUR for a (bottled) beer and I was surprised to get an extra sauce under 0.5 EUR that came in a large bowl.My conclusion: this could be a great place, especially for for families with kids or people living in the area, if the waiters would not be acting as being just hired or plain rude (not sure which ones we met).

If you want the best food in town, the most friendly atmosphere and perfect service, this is the place! I can not recommend one plate or another, whatever you order is very good. From seafood to pizza, from appetisers to dessert, is not one single bad choice. I ate there many times and each time was the same good quality of the food, of the service, of the music (which is not damaging your hearing like in other restaurants). All in all, just go there!

The menu could be better- sea food is not the best.. but I loved my meat (pig)! And yes, the sweet.. is very sweet.. (not on my taste) but it is perfect! We've enjoyed that night with the air conditioner opened.. the stuff is nice and tolerant. The party was private so I am not sure that they don't have bar-tender and music or our organizer didn't want bartender and music..

The food is always tasty. I especially like the fish soup, the risotto with spinach and salsiccia, and the simple but amazing grilled octopus. The waitresses know the menu very well and are always happy to advise. They are relaxed and friendly and pay equal attention to all tables, without hovering. The buffet also has amazing variety, too bad it's not available during summer. The prices are not for everyone, but it's worth to go once in a while. I recommend it to everyone going to Braila.
