This is such a great little restaurant. Very cozy and you feel like you could be in a ski town in Japan. The food is always good and they do their best to take NZ basics available and turn out authentic Japanese cuisine. One of our favorites.

I do not like buffets but my wife does so I was forced to go! But this ready did make for a pleasant surprise the dishes were extremely tasty I prefer chilli but understand not all do so they have chilli sauce which you can add. We also saw them filling up with fresh hot food when cetain dishes got low come early thats a hot tip. Its a BYO wine which is good. Its cozy and the staff are extremely friendly. I still don't like buffets but I would come to this 1 again and at $25 a head its well worth it.
