The bluff oysters, spring rolls, crispy pork and sizzling steak dishes were all superb, we loved them, The service was excellent. All round a wonderful restaurant experience. We will be returning to this restaurant next time we are in Invercargill in two months time.

Pretty standard menu. Food good. Prices are good. I didn't phone my order, but wait time was only about 15 mins which I thought was pretty reasonable. Provided an alternative to room service when staying at the Ascot Park Hotel and not feeling like eating in the restaurant.
Curry Guru Tweed street have the best curries. We are regular clients and wouldnt go anywhere else after trying all. They also deliver with orders over $30 which is handy. They have loyality cards too which after 9 curries you get 10th free. Lamb Bhuna my favourite.

This is a very small, very modest restaurant. I had the sushi and found it to be affordable and good. They make the sushi fresh, which is nice. It was good, however it did fall apart fairly easily. This is not the type of place you go to for a fancy evening out, but if you're looking for something slightly cheaper and convenient, then this is a very good place. I happened to go there, when it was quiet and felt that the service was friendly.

I love The Canton Restaurant. I have been coming here for a long time. The food comes out really quickly and is always piping hot and delicious. Sitting by a heater always makes for a warm visit, and whatever dish I choose it is always tasty. If you haven't been to this reataurant and you love Chinese food and are in a hurry for dinner, you should try it!

Love this place, the food is superb especially the large Bento box, BUT there was sushi in the Bento and no wasabi, I asked for some and was informed there would be an extra fifty cent charge, I objected to this, then told I could have a little for twenty cents, objected again and got no wasabi. The Bento was $28-00 and it was superb, where is the intelligence of the chef, twenty cents no was, principle here, he could have lost a customer, he hasn't as I will go again as the food is so good, but next time be prepared.

The restaurant was opposite the hotel and as the weather was dreadful we decided not to explore! On a Sunday night the restaurant was empty. Service was efficient and the food was tasty. There's a good selection of beers and wine to complement the food. Not exceptional but a good average Thai restaurant.

Interesting food variety . Friendly enough but asked to make a quick meal decision because they had a big party coming in. Not our problem but a management issue. Most unfortunate. Liquor available but very limited options. Wine mediocre. Still cost just reasonable and service ok. Been twice now. Need to develop a banquet option. Pasta and risotto better options than Korean menu items apart from spicy boneless chicken pieces. Other crispy chicken options more crispy than chicken meat.

Surely one of the most popular restaurants in this city. The quality of food dished out is sooo yummy and that combined with the GOLD standard of service makes this place a â¦..MUST VISIT for you. Also tried a couple of Vietnamese starters and was not disappointed.Overall--9/10
