This is a luxury accommodation with great food and drinks. We stayed here 3 nights and found our time there special and relaxing. It is situated in citrus country so they have fresh squeezed orange juice at their breakfast buffet every day. The staff were excellent and professional. Our room was large with all the amenities including indoor and outdoor shower plus a large bathtub. Air conditioning worked well. Linens were luxurious. Dear karenelizabeth3244, Thank you for taking the time to review our establishment.Kind RegardsKarlien

The restaurant offered a nice menu with not too many choices (my preference). They offer a mediteranian vibe and sure enough it did feel that way. I had the pizza and my colleaugues went for meat dishes. Unfortunately the signature dish (oxtail) was sold out. The pizza was OK but better can be had elsewhere. The espetada was a reasonable choice and the lamb shanck also carried approval. The best part was probably the ambiance and up-stairs location. Service was good. The Don Pedros should have been much better. Will I be back - probably not as there are too many other places that require a chance and our visits to PE are infrequent.

Another wonderful experience. I booked my usual table with a wonderful view over the valley. We always love choosing our wine from their walk in cellar(excellent prices). Our waiter was attentive, never letting our glasses empty, and our pizzas were first class. They have created a new tapas board which is delicious. Thank you lovely afternoon.

This is fast-becoming one of PE's well-known culinary institutions as it is very popular amongst the locals and foreigners alike.Close to our Sports Stadium, it equally exudes a festive flair amongst diners sharing rustic wooden tables and benches, with a self-service bar and a freezer full of ice.The authentic Portuguese flavors are evident in all their dishes, with the 3 main dishes being their rather pricey prawns (at R35 each), as well as their very tasty peri peri chicken and (not-to-be-missed and more reasonably-priced) ribs. These can all be served with a large portion of hand-cut crispy fries, a Portuguese salad, and Portuguese rolls. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves for the evening, and get messy with the finger-licking flavors of Portugal!

We went to the restaurant on the strength of the TripAdvisor reviews. It was pretty full but the service was still good. We went expecting to have fish and chips but on the menu the hake was served with fancy mash, which did not appeal to my good lady. There was a chefs special of pork fillet which appealed to me even though there is always a risk of it being rather dry.I thought that the chefs might be able to dish up a juicy pork fillet. No such luck.Fortunately the dish had a very tasty sauce with mashed potato which were able to disguise the dryness of the pork. I will remember to avoid pork fillets in the future. Those at the other tables appeared to be enjoying their meals so I blame myself for the choice I made.Thank you Ross, unfortunately we cant please everyone, thankfully we please most of our clientele. We serve the fresh hake with mashed potato and fresh vegetables, but if you prefer to have fries, maybe you should simply have asked. The pork is one of our top selling dishes, pitty you did not enjoy it. Next time, maybe speak to us while you are in the restaurant and we will happily oblige.

Muse Restaurant

Muse offers relaxed fine dining. The focus is on reinventing and modernising classic comfort meals. Healthy well presented dishes with fresh ingredients.

This is my first review of Muse after visiting the restaurant a number of times. This restaurant is really a gem. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. They made sure that there were no potential food allergy issues. As for the food- it is amazing! My favourite is the short rib pasta, but you really can't go wrong with any of the other items on the menu. The chef even came out to make sure we were okay and enjoyed our meal. Will definitely be back time and time again.
