The Baths is a family friendly restaurant on the Sorrento front beach. We have the perfect space for spectacular beach weddings and cater for birthdays, engagement celebrations, christenings, golf and corporate groups.<br><br>We are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner through January and holidays, closed Sunday evenings at other times.

We did have a good view of the sea from the side. It was quite busy but we were seated Ok. Then the fun started. We were served by a very unfriendly waitress. I don't think her attitude was very popular with the other waitress who kept giving her looks. I ordered the risotto and my husband had the fish and chips. Very overpriced and so was the wine. The risotto was fine although a bit too well cooked. I really think they should look to their prices far too expensive. Oh, and set the tables properly next time. No good eating without a fork and no serviettes.

This was my second visit. Have to say the quality of the food and wine is superb. They offer 2 or 3 courses for a fixed price. The 2 course was $55 pp and in my opinion is more than sufficient. Add a glass or two of wine and it’s around $160 per couple for great service and superb food. I had a salmon entree for a glass of Portsea estate Pinot Gris and for mains had the ocean trout with a Pinot Noir. A side a greens completed the meal. Service as always was faultless. Many people say this is their favourite restaurant.

On a visit previous year this was my clear pick for breakfast in Sorrento. I think it has come off the boil a bit. Coffee is ok but nothing special. Not as good as I remember. I felt fritters had been precooked and reheated which might explain why they were a tad heavy and gluggy. It is ok well located and a popular stop. No longer my first choice for breakfast and coffee.

The once wonderful vanilla slices have been ruined with the addition of jam! Not needed. The cost of a slice of passion fruit sponge at $11.60 is too much. A LONG queue to pay, a better system needs to be worked out.
However always busy as pleasant views to the Bay.

From the outside Fish Fetish almost looks a bit obscure, the interior design is very interesting, of course a very maritime theme. Food is made fresh to order and we ordered a medium size which was already quite large, enough to share. There is a nice selection of types of fish and the taste of fish and chips is great. For a hearty meal a good place to stop by.

I ate here recently and the tapas style food was extremely good. The restaurant is well laid out and has a welcoming feel to it. I ordered the chicken ribs with pineapple salsa and a pistachio, pear and Cheddar cheese salad. Delicious! The service was friendly but rather slow, although they were pretty busy. And to their credit, when they realised they had given me the wrong salad, they replaced it reasonably quickly with the one I had ordered, and did not charge me for it. A friendly gentleman there (the owner/manager?) explained to me how the chicken was cooked and was genuinely pleased when I said how much I was enjoying the food. A good, reasonably priced option in Sorrento.

Met friends here for lunch yesterday and while we enjoyed our food for a pub meal it was pricey. Living on the Mornington Peninsula I am well aware though that there isn’t an hotel that serves good pub meals at reasonable prices. A direct comparison is that the previous day we had met friends at a restaurant further ‘up’ the Peninsula and had full table service, the same number of courses and drinks per head, for $10 less per head. Both had bay views. We had lamb shanks today, very tasty, pork belly, yummy but a small meal and gnocchi a reasonable serving but not great. The ‘gnocchi’ eater had just been to Italy so her judgement may have been biased! Overall we will probably meet here again as it is convenient for our friends from Queenscliff.

I'm enjoying an amazing breakfast of Smashed Avocado. So good. Possibly the best I've had. Presentation taste, great bread, even a squeeze of lemon. Fresh mint in there too. They also have special blends of coffee. Oh and the cutlery isn't cheap and nasty either. Perfect for the bleak day outside.

Stopped on here for a bite to eat before the movies. Service very friendly and a cosy little cafe / general store on a cold day. Purchased the soup of the day which my wife couldn't finish and one each of the mini pies or quiches at $3.50 each; which given they lacked seasoning, I wasn't all that happy with. Good selection of paninis and focaccia but not sure I would rush back.

Step through into the Sorrento Portsea RSL and enjoy a beer while having a free game of pool! Regular Music nights in the Rsl, very popular with the locals! Wasn't expecting a Thai Restaurant in an RSL establishment, but hey, that's the way it rolls round here. AMAZING Thai food - flavoursome, tasty, piping hot and good portion size. Efficient and welcoming staff is just what you need. Definitely return if in Sorrento again. Well Done Sorrento Thai Rest. Yummy!
