Ci siamo fidati di quanto prometteva il sito del ristorante, vista l'assenza di recensioni. Quando siamo arrivati c'era solo un'altra persona a un tavolo. Siamo stati serviti subito dal receptionist che faceva anche da cameriere (il che non prometteva bene...), e che ci ha spiegato come, nonostante quanto sbandierato sul sito, di fatto ci fosse un solo menu quella sera, a cui abbiamo chiesto una variazione (pesce al posto di un piatto di carne con formaggio come secondo), che ha prontamente eseguito. Per il resto abbiamo preso degli gnocchi con funghi e gamberi e due filetti di orata con crema di piselli e abbiamo pagato un totale di meno di 50 euro. Tutto sommato onesto, per essere un quattro stelle, anche se avrei decisamente preferito assaggiare qualcosa di quello di cui si vantava il sito. Diciamo che essendo lunedì non c'erano molte alternative, altrimenti saremmo andati altrove.

Gostilna pri Hrvatu is the actual name of the restaurant.We came here for lunch. This is a small restaurant with outdoor seating and a large menu. I had grilled trout (locally caught) with grilled vegetables and the food was quite good. My wifeâs beef goulash and polenta side order were good as well. Lunch for five with one beer and one soft drink came to â¬51.

We had dinner here and my grilled trout with boiled potatoes was quite good, while the pastry rolled with cheese was tasteless. The fried cheese was good too. I would say average in general but you may get lucky with some of the dishes. Service was ok although at the end of the evening the waitress was chain smoking at another table with some acquaintances. Thank you for your review and remarks.

We were in Slovenia to visit family, friends and attend Metal Days. We flew into Ljubljana; and stayed in Kobarid. Unfortunately, we experienced some computer problems on our trip and had to leave it with a repair shop in Ljubljana â which meant we drove to our hotel, and had to return to the city the next day. Thankfully, there are three highways that take you to the city; and we chose the windier road to return to the city â the highway that takes you through Idrija. We needed lunch on this afternoon and had plenty of time to eat at our leisure. We found Gostice Barbara simply by driving through, and the location is truly what made us initially stop. We liked that there was an outdoor patio on this warm afternoon, and with it being covered, it provided the perfect environment.The patio was filled with different road travelers; some even on their motorcycles. There was plenty of staff during our visit, and we were greeted promptly. We selected an open table, one of the few, and ordered some water on such a hot day. We ordered a couple of entrees to share, one of them being the traditional žlikrofi. We loved our meals; and everything was prepared to perfection. Flavors were outstanding; and they were perfect in portion. The price was very reasonable. After our meal, we decided for a little sweet; and walked down from the restaurant to the ice cream shop that is next door and part of the restaurant. We each ordered a scoop of the ice cream to enjoy on their patio; and that truly completed our afternoon in preparation for our drive back to the city. We would definitely return!

In our restaurant you can enjoy in many delights of Slovenian and Idrija's cooking, hidden in old recipes. We are known for the best Idrijski žlikrofi in town and won numerous awards for preparing them. Besides, we offer you warm lunch and food by order.

Locals recommended this place for žlikrofi. Building is less than attractive with all kinds of extensions and between roads and sidewalks. Inner space is dark and with massive furniture. We ordered local specialty and food was good but nothing special. It seems that they are satisfied with the same quality from ten or fifteen years ago. Idrija needs more inns for improving quality.Hello Miha! Thank you for bringing your experience to our attention. Simple and nice restaurant, good food and friendly staff. As we just stopped for a quick recharge, we took only different kind of pizza. All super good. Staff was nice and friendly, doing some jokes to feel comfortable. I learned from my friend that also other food is very good and prices are very friendly.

Restaurant Danica is at the entrance to Campsite Danica, but works as restaurant itself. It offers a lot of local dishes, good barbecue and lovelly desserts.

Nice and modest place. Good Local Slovenian food. Check carefully before ordering what are the dishes you are asking for. The problem (is it only when we were there?) was the service. Hard to get attention and when you get it, short span of patience. We had to get help from other guests (they were nice). Some of the dishes were not for our taste; but probably made well. Come with local support.

The owner of this place is cheerful and helpful man who talked with us with humor. We were there 3 times and every time we tried something different. Zlikrofi (a local dish) rules this place, trouts are fresh and tasty, turkey, chickens - all much to our liking. Try potato croquetes, and most important - don't forget about desserts ! Sweet Zlikrofi with nuts filling made us straight to heaven, sweet pancakes with cottage cheese were also very good. Best Restaurnt in like 30km radius ! Unfortunately closed mondays and tuesdays :(
