This Inn is an undiscovered gem. Owned and managed by a family for at least five generation. They try to keep the inn as authentic as possible - the only place in the Inn where the tradition is not taken into account is the toilets. In the Inn they do not have Wifi - when we asked for wifi they explained to us " we only have a fresh beer and three different newspapers".As I said before the interior is very traditional, above the bar hop is hanging, etc...Even the food is traditional Slovenian. With few exceptions like french fries.But the best thing in the Inn is the beer. It is stored and served in a very traditional way (chilled in a warehouse, pumped without pressure, etc.) and the taste is excellent.

Restaurant Pavus is situated in a small castle overlooking the town of Lasko. Easy accesible on foot from city center or by car. Visit for the view and choose from a varitiy of Lasko beer or a wide choice of local wines, have a dessert or a lavish dinner.

What a restaurant, what a meal, what a view, what a night! Iâm so grateful that we found this restaurant! We couldnât decide what to eat, so we ended up order the 10 courses menu, and we didnât regret. Everything tasted delicious. The chef came to see us, and to tell us about the dishes, very nice. Thank you, Pavos!Thank you for the visit and for the great review. Slovenia has great restaurants, you just have to dig a little deeper and do some research. Hope to cook for you again soon.

My boyfriend and I were there to try burgers. We decided to go with the cheapest one for 6,90⬠(I don't exactly remember the name) as the components looked like the ones for the usual burger.We got it fast (15-20 mins for crowded restaurant is normal). Brugers were ordered rare and medium, which we both got. Meat is really delicious. Improvements could be made in bread (potato bread for example), the rest was fine.Hi Alja, thanks for leaving a review! We appreciate it. You must be talking about Oscar Bilby burger. My friends and I ate here after our visit to Green Gold fountain. The service was satisfactory. The waiter was friendly and fast. They offer lunches and a la carte menu. I ordered roast pork and bread dumplings. The food was fine but nothing special. If you choose this restaurant you will eat good food for little money and you will leave full, but itâs no gastronomical experience. The toilet could use a face lift, but it was clean. I real disappointment was the lack of toilet paper. If I visit this region again I will probably try some other restaurant. There was limited parking available.

The burger I had was nothing special. The bread bun was from ordinary bread and was just a little bit grilled. There was not enough sauce so the bread was really dry which didnât go well with the burger. The âdescriptionâ and the ingredients of the burger promised something more, but at the end it was ver very average. Basically I had another burger at another place right after this one just to get my proper burger taste expectations satisfied.

This is by far the best restaurant in region. When you enter the restaurant you can feel the amazing ambient and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It feels like they are a good team.
