There are not many restaurants in Truskavets and that leads to high prices combined with modest menu choices.
This restaurant is just average national restaurant with upscale prices. For Truskavets, it gets 4* rating (the food in decent). In city with many eating places it would definitely be 3*.

The guys are trying to be good and creative. This is reflected in the marketing story (own coffee brand, nice interior). What is disappointing? Prices and the quality of coffee. Sweets were OK (albeit pricey), but coffee was just average. I would expect either better quality with current prices or lower prices with current quality. I personally would prefer the first option :-)

The restaurant is located in a beautiful park of sanatorium "Carpathians". On the terraces that cascade down to the ornamental ponds are wooden gazebos, tables and benches. Dance floor looms over stretches of ornamental pond fed by water from a rocky waterfall. Water is poured into the upper pond bottom and drives the wheel "mill", which is a banquet hall.

There were many children at this restaurant, enjoying the music (mix of Ukrainian and other). The food was good. The several caged animals were of interest, especially to children, though I would have liked to see them have larger living areas....North American zoos were like this a few decades ago.....

Called for lunch in between train journeys. It is a short walk from the station. Staff were friendly and the food was very good. Would visit again.

When we are in this city we always visit Lvivska Kavyarnya. Beautiful building, nice atmosphere inside and very delicious sweets, cakes and drinks. I strongly recommend everyone to order cappuccino here, it's amazing and of course some truffles or prunes in chocolate! I have been in about 10 cafes of this net in different cities and I am confident that this is the best.

If don't like buffet in Rixos (which is very good btw) - this a place to have your supper if you stay in or near Truskavets. The food quality is very good - green borsch, tabako chicken, fresh river trout, good selection of wines. Awesome service - English service and menu. They do have a Chef there!!!!!
