Excellent hotel

This was my first time that I have ever stayed in an Ibis Budget hotel anywhere, and I have to say that on seeing the reception area and my room for the 1st time my heart sank a bit. The room looks exactly how I would imagine a student bedroom to look like, very basic and functional, absolutely no cosiness or warmth. Also, the walls are rough cast plaster and in need of repainting, so overall a bit depressing on 1st sight. However, I soon got used to the room, was only in it to sleep and the bed and pillows are the equal to a 5 star hotel. The shower is in a moulded plastic cubicle, but excellent. There were painters there during my stay, so presuming the hotel is getting redone now. Blackout blinds on the windows and totally silent at night. Buffet Breakfast has everything you need, not cooked, but I didn't mind that at all. Lots of different staff over the course of my 5 night stay, but all consistently excellent with their customer service. Ibis must recruit the best and then train them well. I was travelling solo , definitely not a hotel for a romantic getaway. The 'No drugs' sign in the bedroom alarmed me a bit at first, I thought , 'What kindof establishment is this?!' For the price I paid, I couldn't fault it. Super clean. Hard to find any faults considering the price, Well done to Ibis and all the staff.

Tread carefully when booking this Hotel unless you want to be ripped off

Very disappointed with this property and Booking.com Booked a superior room with Half Board only to be told when I arrived they do not offer Half Board, however you can go onto the Best Western site and book Half Board so I was very confused When I raised this with front desk I was told they could do nothing, when I went to pay I was charged Half Board rate and the added my meals and would not refund me, I was told they have no control over Booking.com rates. Also the restaurant is not open Friday, Saturday or Sunday So again offering Half Board is false and misleading Then the Room I was given was supposed to be superior, however a colleague was staying in a standard room and his was identical n every way to mine, again ripped off is how I felt, again when raised I was told it was nothing to do with them and I should take it up with booking.com But you can select this superior room on the Best Western site so again false and misleading information. Room was nice, shower could have done with maintenance to fix the multiple leaks in the nozzle but aside from that it was fine. Breakfast was a non event Most mornings there was little available and when a crowd arrived there was even less. Staff are nice but appear to have their hands tied in terms of financial issues.

Stayed here during a business trip to Anderlecht. Much nice than the standard business hotels. Very quiet little town, just a view car minutes from the business zones in Anderlecht. Spacey room, very clean and bathroom with large walk-in shower. All very new and clean. Personal welcome and nice breakfast almost like home. I will be back!

The owner could not have been more helpful

Four friends booked this hotel after a recommendation of a local resident. We arrived late evening and requested an iron and a kettle. We had a drink in the bar and on retiring I was given a pot of boiling water and an iron was in the room. We asked to book a taxi to a nearby college and Eric the owner drove us there himself. Anything we asked for was no problem and he was great to chat to with excellent English. The breakfast was a feast, the beds were very comfortable and the hotel was very near to the village with plenty of amenities. We would stay there again.

Tomorrowland Garden Camping

Not recommended unless it's your last option

Reviewed By Fer_ajidou

Tomorrowland has a very good logistics and services spirit, it's one of the many reasons why it's the most important EDM festival in the world. Nevertheless, imperfections have to be there. Of course the Tomorrowland staff didn't know that this year there was going to be rain at the festival (2019), but it happened and this factor can make your stay at Dreamville the worst ever. First of all to inform you that the coin you'll use inside Tomorrowland is the "Pearl" (photo of pearls costs included) The first day the weather was hot (hottest day in the history of Belgium, according to records) and it was nice taking a free outside the pay showers (3 pearls) since it's refreshing. Everything changed that day at night when it started raining. At the next day when we woke up the grass was muddy and you could get dirty basically with every move you made. The tents if they didn't have rain protection, got wet inside and for girls (my case) the makeup and hairstyle became a mess. The bathrooms where they have electricity for your stylers such as straighteners or curlers have to wait a long line before girls get their hairs done. The hairdryers were busy because girls dried their clothes and you could spend from 1 to 2 hours trying to get your hair done. As for the services, They have a good number of restrooms (unisex) and unfortunately dirty, they have a supermarket inside with very good prices. There's also a hair saloon for girls and make up by MAC cosmetics. As for the phone charging there are stations where you pay 8 pearls for the service and 8 pearls for the powerbank. Once the powerbank runs out of battery you can simply ask for another one, returning the empty one. I highly recommend to analyze very well if you want to stay in the camping since it's not comfortable as it wasn't for me. I suggest staying in a hotel at Brussels and daily taking the shuttles. As for the food, you can bring food that you can buy in a Carrefour close to Dreamville. I recommend you buy water. The alcohol must be put into plastic bottles. NO GLASS BOTTLES ARE ALLOWED. If you're going to the supermarket try to go early, otherwise, there'll be a 1 hour queue to get in. *** VERY IMPORTANT*** Take care of your belongings 'cause somebody stole me two clothes while I was taking a shower.
