Really didnât expect much before visiting this place. The food was really really good. We really enjoyed the Teppanyaki dishes. Not very fond of writing review essays, but Tao Pan Asian Karachi has it all to make anyone appreciate. This was the restaurant that satisfied our appetite for near to authentic but really good Pan Asian food, from variety of sushi and starters to main course, everything has been worth trying every time.

To celebrate my wife's birthday, we took some friends out to dinner to Fujiyama. Not especially fond of semi-cooked cuisine, I couldn't remember the last time we had been there but the Japanese buffet came as a pleasant surprise. The spread was very lavish and one could hardly do justice to the amazing array of dishes. Starting with the subtly flavored miso soup, we worked our way to the signature starter, the light and crispy prawn tempura. We passed on the boring sushi to focus on the sumptuous salad bar which featured some excellent Asian salad leafs and exotic seaweed salad; the beef tataki (slightly seared, thinly sliced beef served in citrusy-soy sauce) was exceptional as was the the beef negimaki - broiled strips of beef marinated in teriyaki sauce and rolled with scallions. Among the entrees, our favorites were the prawn and mutton chops teppenyaki.Dessert stand-outs were the hot, bread pudding and the chocolate delights; the iconic green tea ice cream turned out to be a bitter disappointment. Service was exceptional and the presentation excellent - well worth the exorbitant tab!

Visited this restaurant, conveniently located in Bokhari Commercial area of DHA. This area has become a hub for nice upcoming food places. This was a fairly small place, on two floors offering smoking and non smoking area. We reached around 8.45 PM for dinner without a reservation, but got a table for 4. Ordered some sushi, papaya salad and beef tataki. Generally quality was good. For main we ordered crispy fish tacos, rice noodle bowl and steak. Tacos and noodle bowl were fine but steak was served a bit late and quality was nothing to rave about. Prices were also just ok, nit too cheap and not very high. Generally a reasonable place to visit for a casual meal.
