Welcome to Hornigold Apartments! Hornigold "W Zielonej Kamienicy” Hornigold "W Zielonej Kamienicy" stands for 34 comfortable, luxurious and prestigious apartments. Each of them is unique and original. By crossing the threshold, you set foot in a historical, modernistic building constructed in 1914 based on Robert Zimmermann's design. He was a Polish entrepreneur and architect who built the northern part of ul. Kościuszki. Hornigold apartments are the alternative to standard hotels. Large spaces, stylish interiors with private bathrooms and kitchenettes make the form of accommodation offered by us attractive for our current and future Guests. Reviewed By Gary BMy partner and I have stayed at the Hornigold many times during our regular visits to this area. The apartments are always superb value for money, they are comfy, clean and welcoming. Each apartment offers subtle differences, spa baths, luxury showers, check out the website for details of each apartment and what it offers. The staff are amazing, always on hand to offer help or advice, nothing is too much trouble. Always with a welcoming smile. Breakfast is recommended, the food on offer is great, hot and cold options and plenty of amazing home made cakes and biscuits to sample. The location is ideal, close to the mainline rail and new bus terminal, great for travellers not choosing to hire a car. Talking of cars, there is secure car parking available for minimal cost, but an added bonus for sure. As is the spa facilities on the lower floor. What more could any weary traveller wish for. Please do try the Hornigold Apartments, each one has its own character, sample the hospitality on offer, and see for yourself what value for money this place is. Highly recommended.

Dirty, dark, and the owner is dishonest
Reviewed By WengenersAs others have stated, this apartment is very hard to find, and you have to walk through a dim tunnel from the bus on streets littered with trash to get there. The office where you get the key (which was closed when we got there in the afternoon) is in a garage. It took them 10 minutes to bring us a key while we waited in the cold rain. The apartment building is gloomy, and the apartment we were given was dirty and dark with grey walls and black and red curtains. The washing machine in the unit was moldy and smelled so badly we had to open the windows. Also, there was old food left in the refrigerator. And the heater wouldn’t shut off and they had to call maintenance. When we saw the apartment, we asked to shorten our stay to one night and were told they would refund the second night. Then when we published our honest but negative review, they said they would not refund anything. The owner is dishonest and says that no one has ever published a bad review for them, which is just not true. They refuse to acknowledge how bad the apartment is and have gone back on their word. We strongly advise staying elsewhere in the area.

Reviewed By BeataBiWe were coming to Katowice for the music festival and decided that since there will be thousands of people there we would love something nice and quite for later and the place was perfect for it! Very pleasant and quite and cheap with simple but tasty breakfast served to your room with freshly baked rolls (some are even from the local bakery). There is a secure parking place right in front of the building and it's free (which almost never happens in Katowice). We stayed in an apt. downstairs - very spacious, with the exit outside. The bathroom is also clean and nice. The staff very attentive and responsive to our needs. The apartments are located 15 minute drive from the centre of Katowice. Personally I rate this hotel much higher that Novotel in Katowice which costs over twice as much!

Reviewed By Velibor MApartments are very nice (room 28). People at the reception speak good English. Bathrooms are shared by too many people, and have designed holes on the bottom of the doors. Otherwise very nice. Pillows are tooo small. Kitchen is suitable for making some meals (has toster, microwave oven, fridge and a heater).

Reviewed By Sophie fDas Hotel hat mich an die Klassenfahrt vor vielen Jahren erinnert eine kleine Decke die man sich zu 2 teilen musst, es war sehr kalt in den Zimmern und nur ein kleiner Radiator der nicht viel Wärme abgegeben hat! Zimmer sehr hellhörig und andere Gäste vergnügten sich nachts (02:30-04:30 Uhr) mit Alkoholischen Getränken und waren dem entsprechend gelaunt (Laut)… Nachts wurde keine verantwortliche Person erreicht somit war das ganze Hotel wach!
