This restro-bar is right on MG Road, the heart of the city.We tried this thrice during our stay and all the foods we ordered we "excellent". The suggested cocktails/drinks were unique and perfectly blends with the food. Me and my Girlfriend were searching for a Café with a nice view and nice atmosphere. We nearly missed the "Bibliotéque", caused to it's not on the main market road but on a branch of it and the entry is difficult to find. But thanks God we decided to go in! At first look I really thought it's only a library and not a Café, because there are bookshelfs at every wall, but the friendly waiter told us to have a seat and brought us the menu. The concept is implemented brilliant, even the bill was brought in a book! After taking seat, we recognized the overwhelming view at the city and the mountains! So the atmosphere made us perfectly happy, but until here, we had not even seen the Menu. We found out, the Bibliotéque isn't only a café but a restaurant, too. In the evening you can have some western food like Pasta or Burger, but also some Indian food which is a very nice mixture I think, so everyone will find something he or she will like. Though it was afternoon, we ordered Belgian Waffles with fresh fruits with peach iced tea and Pancakes with fresh fruits and a milk coffee. What we got, you can see on the pictures. Only one word: AMAZING!! Even the appearance was artwork and it tasted exactly like it's looking. We're fallen in love with this little cute Café and we were so sad that we couldn't have dinner there because we just discovered it on our last day in Gangtok. This place is like out of my Dreams and I will definitely go there again next time I visit Gangtok!Thank you so much for the appreciation. We are glad you liked the hospitality and food. Went to this place for snacks and drinks on the first day of our Gangtok trip along with friends and family. Since it was a weekday, the lounge did not have any customers apart from us. We were seated in the basement. It has small individual cabin like places with ground level seating arrangements. Very dimly lit, just perfect to go with mood. The basement also consists of a pool table and karaoke section for entertainment and you can enjoy the same while you have your drinks. Food & drinks are reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful, and there was a lady waiting on us at all times. I also heard that on certain days live bands perform over there. A good place to chill-out if you have time from your trip.

Food served was really tasty. Typical north indian food. Chicken was delicious and tandoori wheat roti was actual made of wheat. Overall nice hotel. I recommend this hotel in gangtok.

We chose this place for an early dinner as they open pretty early and have an affordable bar. Sitting next to windows overlooking the street, we enjoyed the views, beer and lovely snacks. Main courses are also excellent. All our food choices were from their Indian menu.Ambiance is excellent Service is good.
