You could smell the beef before going in but it meant you could also smell the beef on you after you leave the place! We ordered two different steak set lunch menus, one where they cooked it before they served it and the other they gave you a plate to cook yourself. We couldn't understand the menu but ordered based on the photos. The beef was wonderful and the price very reasonable for this quality of beef. They also had a shop which raw beef that you could purchase home. It wasn't very luxurious but comfortable environment with a lot of space between tables. It's a relatively convenient drive halfway between the Mitsui Outlet mall Shiga Ryuo and Omihachiman but might be slightly inconvenient if taking public transport. Whist in the area, you could also visit the remains of Azuchi castle and the Nobunaga museum.

ステーキ、ハンバーグのチェーン店です。彦根に仕事に行った際は、彦根の店舗も良く利用します。ランチがお得でオススメです。またステーキのイメージが強いですが、ハンバーグ、チキンも美味しいです。グラン単位でオーダーできて、女性でも安心です。いつも１９０ｇのハンバーグをオーダーしますが、１９０ｇでもボリューム満点です。サラダバーも種類が多く好きです。

I have had numerous meals during my 30 years plus in doing business in Japan, but the steak lunch at Rigi was fantastic!Fantastic preparation at our teppanyaki countryside table. Our talented chef we found out trained in Japan, as well as in Europe. His wife prepares all of the numerous side dishes at the restaurant on a daily basis.We throughly enjoyed our lunch, as will make sure to take time to visit Rigi again in the future!
