10 minutes walk from our hotel, the entrance is not enticing but once you enter the ambiance is good...the garden space has open sitting places and some with canopies mostly for groups, suited us well as we were 15 of us,also indoor sitting.
Resembled a mini palace, good food , quick service , local cuisine available and njoid the river water fish and good prices.
Highly recommend.

We discovered this restaurant thanks to our Lonely Planet travel guide, and it was conveniently on the road between our hotel and the Sheki Khan's Palace. At first we noticed garden Seating, and since it was a nice day, we thought we'd eat there. Instead we were seated inside, but that turned out to add to the ambience. The restaurant is in what looks to be a little wine cellar decorated with hunting trophies. It felt very characteristic of the town. The service was excellent, as was the food! We had a few different types of dolma, some shashlik, and a bottle of wine, all for less than 20 manat! Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sheki.

The restaurant is located on a small hill and offers some beautiful views of Sheki. They offer lots of excellent local dishes and the one you should definitely try is "Piti". It is a lamd stew with chickpeas and saffron served in a clay pot. It is a must in Sheki and after a few other restaurants I must say that Gagarin Restaurant has the best piti in town.
The staff speak a little bit of english and are nice and helpful. Menu is also in english but unfortunately the menu didn't have prices when I visited. But don't worry the prices are affordable, for example piti is 6 manat (3 euros). They also have fresh salads and cherries.

I would suggest you to have kebab there. Especially if you stay in Markhal hotel you will be in 5 minutes drive from this restaurant and I'd have meal

Located on the ground floor of the Sheki Saray Hotel at the very left-hand side of the lobby next to the Buta Bar. The restaurant is for hotel and outside guests conveniently accessible from the guest elevators and main entrance doors. The overall color scheme is yellow and brown , with a fire place. The design of the restaurant allows it to be comfortable used for the 3 main meal periods.

The Buta Bar is situated on the ground floor of the Sheki Saray Hotel, to the right inside the main hotel entrance. The bar is small and very cozy. Buta Bar is designed as a stylish elegant bar and it is ‘the place to go’ to have an informal drink with friends. Signature items of the bar is a wide variety of wines by the glass, cognacs and whiskies from around the world.
