A friend recommended Dragon Hing to us as we were beginning to become disappointed with our regular Chinese takeaway. We were not disappointed with Dragon Hing, the food is lovely, staff are friendly and happy to recommend dishes if you are unsure what you want to try. We have only ordered three times from here over the last month or so but I think we have found our new regular Chinese takeaway and won't be going anywhere else. Loved the smoked shredded chicken which was recommended to us and the crispy shredded chilli chicken is the best we've had in a long time. Everything tastes so fresh and can't wait to try more dishes. Would highly recommend Dragon Hing.

Used to come here every month. The staff were friendly, had a laugh with my wee boy and seemed happy to chat as they worked. The food has always been good. The last 3 or 4 visits we noticed the staff had changed. The small manager with glasses, all the white waiters and waitresses, all gone. It's now the big bloke who barley looks the road you're on. My 7 year old asked for chopsticks. He was given a set but when we went to pay the bill they were snatched out of his hands. I asked if he could keep them. Gruffly told no. We've spent hundreds here and the old staff knew us as regulars but the big bloke has no customer skills. What would it have cost for him to let the boy keep them or even add a few pence to the bill. Came again tonight to see if it was maybe just a bad night. I was standing next to the chill and could hear shouting from the kitchen and big bloke kicked the door in and stormed into the kitchen. Horrible atmosphere. Won't be back for a long long time. All because of miserable staff

Went here with my son. It was terrible. Avoid at all costs. After our visit here we were ill all night. We went cause my son wanted the unlimited ice cream but he didn't have any cause he didn't feel well after the food he had eaten. Being a buffet restaurant, whatever you and your son ate would undoubtedly have been eaten by many of our other customers, and we would have expected other complaints, which is not the case.

I live in Whitburn and yet I travel to Bathgate for a Chinese takeaway. The portion sizes are big. Prices are great and the premises are spotless. I would definitely recommend The yummy house.

THis Chinese restaurant doesn't have a licence, it does a booming trade on carryouts it is a pity more people don't come and sit in as you can bring your own bottle. I have been going for years and haven't had a bad meal. THe owners are lovely and I now class hem as friends.

My first taste of the food offered by this establishment and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a varied menu and everything tasted fresh and delicious. My daughter who lives locally to the shop said "sometimes food quality is hit and miss." Thankfully on my visit it was indeed a hit.

This is a lovely family owned & run business & they are all very friendly & polite. I regularly visit this place & my favourite menu has to be the chicken curry & fried rice. The best Chinese take away in Bathgate by far. Well done guys.

Very few cashew nuts - about 9 or 10 - in a takeaway dish called 'chicken cashew' -- maybe I should have realise this meant chicken with ONE cashew!!

The Golden Swallow restuarant is a long established restuarant in Bathgate. It has a great selection of Chinese food, and I have had no disappointments through my many visits to it.The staff are always courteous and friendly, and would recommend a visit to this fine restaurant.
