Schapers is a fun venue for a drink after dinner and for live music on the weekends in summer. I don't recommend the food. Kids will enjoy the ice-cream options, or a plate of fresh. For the rest of us: just enjoy a beer or mojito on the beach and enjoy the ocean view.

Hier gibt es nicht nur guten Kuchen, man bekommt auch Kleinigkeiten zu essen: Empanadas, Schinken-Tarte, Folienkartoffeln etc. Neben Tee-SpezialitÃ¤ten der Region findet sich auch eine gut sortierte Weinkarte. Das Lokal ist eingerichtet wie ein Bistro, man kann auch drauÃen sitzen.

This was a sometimes-you-end-where-you-begin kind of situation. Four of us strolled through town looking for a pub for a pre-dinner drink. After about half an hour we stood in front of Glaube-Liebe-Hoffnung, which is located basically next to our hotel. An islander told us that this pub used to the meeting place for the locals, so we decided to give it a try. The pub is cosy and quirky with seafarer memorabilia decorating the walls. We stayed for a couple of drinks and recommend others to do the same. On a different note, according to the Internet, the pub opens at 5pm, but itâs actually 6pm.
