I was the only customer there, so the service was good. I ordered Lomo saltado, which was done well and tasty. Price was 12 soles. I think it had an appetizer of cebiche as well as a drink. Price was a bit high, but the setting was nicer than most typical Menu restaurants, and the location was about 3-4 blocks from the square. This is an outlet for Tio Sergio's smoked meats and breads. You can also get a wide variety of jungle liqueurs there.

la visita de noche es obligada, encontraras tragos de la región con frutas tropicales, y los famosos macerados, ambiente grato, y muy ventilado, creo sin temor a equivocarme que el lomo saltado es su plato bandera. todo en su punto de sabor y zazon.

I love the burgers here, best in town! Not only good beef with all the trimmings, but chicken as well. Flavors similar to USA, but with a local fusion that is definitely better than both! For local/jungle food, try the Tacacho, which is a mass of deep fried plantains and spices, I think it comes with chicken on skewers. about 10 soles for burger, fries, and drink.

The food is very well presented and tastes very good, the portions are the perfect size to counteract the rich menu offering. I like to try vegetarian places when I can, but usually the taste is not that good despite using great ingredients. This cafe is definitely the exception: the seasoning was on point, my Zygo (vegetarian) burger was mouthfuls of taste, the smoothies were beyond scrumptious. We'll be coming back again.
