We visited here during our Christmas holiday. It is a lovely restaurant and really cosy. The people are very welcoming and the service was excellent. We ordered the set menu which was fantastic for price!! It was really tasty and well-cooked. I would recommend the restaurant.

A very romantic restaurant like in a cellar in the rock, nice decorated, felted atmosphere,for a perfect evening and a delicious menus; excellent antipasti, and pastas with vongoli (mussels), very good meat, roast or lamb, celebrated with a good wine and at last for gourmets, a great dessert. We were 6 and we had a wonderful evening at Ristorante Cesare. We enjoyed each others company â not so much the food, and not so much the service. We had quail, we had "little pig" which turned out to be exactly that: A tiny small portion. As was the fact for the quail. The dishes? OK, but not fantastic. My wife chose chocolate fondant for dessert and found it extremely good: "The best dessert I've had for a looong time". The waiter told us it would be 10 minutes to wait for it to be made, but it didn't matter: My wife loved it. But, we ordered two chocolate cakes, and when we asked for it after 40 minutes the waiter offered nothing but lame excuses, no apologies. On the contrary, he turned defensive and left. Anyhow â this restaurant has a premium location but there is definitely room for improvement on other categories.

We came to this restaurant as it was around the corner from our hotel, we didnât have a booking but no problem, we ordered pasta, 2 different meals, had breads while we were waiting, then our meals arrived really quickly. They were very flavoursome, we added some chilli (as we love chilli) and we both tried a bit of each otherâs meals and they were both delicious. Recent reviews from other customers were less than positive, but my experience here was simply outstanding - and i am a very demanding customer, not easily satisfied when it comes to food at all! Righi, however, made my taste buds very happy tonight. Each dish was incredibly refined in its flavour, texture and presentation. One example being crispy pieces of eggplant on a wonderful tomato soup with a burrata cream. All simple enough ingredients but prepared in a new way which made this starter memorable. Lovely and elegant setting, excellent wine, attentive but discrete service. I chose this place based on their good reviews, but it was a bit disappointing. The décor is really old and lacks any kind of style and the view is almost non-existent. Food was average and quite expensive. It felt more like a canteen rather than a restaurant. I wouldnât come back.

We were passing through San Marino and spent only one night here. In the morning we were looking for a breakfast place in Borgo Maggiore and we were invited to have breakfast at Hostaria da Lino joining the residents of the hotel/auberge.At very reasonable cost we thorougly enjoyed the full, delicious breakfast served, the strong and tasty Italian coffees and, not to forget, the hospitality of the staff at this place. We did not expect anything and were treated like kings.

We tried the 3 towers lunch set. It costs 19 Euro. It consists of a salad, lasagna, suckling pig and a cup of 3-flavoured ice-cream. The portion is decent. Food is good and the view is nice. The only thing is that the suckling pig tasted more like roasted pig.
