Outstanding Customer Service

Reviewed By MisiRose

We stopped here by chance to have a look & was greeted by the the most heart-warming lady (sorry I didn't ask her name) by far on Savai'i. She welcomed us to come in & have a look & use of the restrooms which pleasantly surprised us as this is not normally something we have ever experienced on the island. Thank you for your wonderful customer service that made us feel right at home. Should we plan another trip, we will definitely stay here, your warmth draws us back to your property. Kudos to outstanding customer service

Namua Island Resort

Peaceful paradise

Reviewed By chantal_dunbar

Namua is reached via a 10min boat trip from the southeastern point. There’s no sign, no way of knowing where to stop or who to ask, so simply pull over if you see a local and ask them how to get across. The lagoon is calm and filled with turtles as the island provides a nesting site. The water is clear and free of trash, making it a delight for paddling and snorkelling. This area was badly impacted by the Tsunami, so the coral is still recovering. So is the village economy, so visiting helps the traditional owners resist the temptation of selling to developers. Fales are available on the beach and a BBQ lunch is available for T15/ person. Please request the guide retrain from diving on a turtle for photos as it stresses the animals out in a big way.

Le Valasi's Beach Fales

Beach fale accommodation for a traditional Samoan style holiday. Le Valasi’s Beach Fales is run by Ross & Maria Jones who have made Samoa their home since moving over from Australia. Ross & Maria offer Beach Fale accommodation, which in our case is really a palagi house with a Samoan roof. It is fitted with an innersprung bed, table & chairs to be private clean and comfortable. All hotel linen is used PLUS towels are supplied. Separate toilet & shower areas nearby. Dining room, bar, and restaurant in the main fale overlooking Lefaga Bay. The Main Fale is a 60 year old traditional fale built without nails, only using Samoan rope to lash all the ribs, posts & beams together. Ross & Maria have repaired the building to its original glamour since the Cyclone in December 2012. It is one of the few remaining original Samoan houses left in Samoa as more & more families are changing to the conventional Palagi house. Large school groups can be accommodated using the big fale as a sleeping area. Le Valasi’s Beach Fales is located 35km south west of Apia in the heart of Savaia – Lefaga, only half an hour from the airport andaccessible by public transport or taxi service. Ross & Maria can arrange transfer from airport at a small charge.

Sadly we only stayed there for a night, but it was the best night, food and experience we had in Samoa! Helena is a wonderful woman!!! She prepared a beautiful fale for us in a second and cooked the BEST food we ate during our trip! We really enjoyed talking with her and sharing our time with her! We would love to come back just to see her again! THANKS! :)

Beautiful gardens, lovely people

Reviewed By Tanya W

arrived at 5 a.m. but this was no problem for Jacinta who was ready and welcomed us warmly. Best of all, she left us alone after a few minutes, sensing that we needed some sleep. Woke and explored a couple of hours alter - gardens were immaculate and bursting with colour. Beds were comfortable, fale was spotlessly clean with a natty little kitchen provided which we used for several meals. Also provided breakfast - bread, eggs, coffee, milk, and an enormous bowl of delicious tropical fruit. Local bus (4 tala to Apia city for2 adults, 2 kids) goes past front gate. Only downside was the early morning wakeup from some nearby roosters who were fairly persistent.

Sina PJ Beach Fales

Sunday at the Fales.

Reviewed By zumbajunkie

I had a very nice and relaxing time at the Sina PJ Beach Fales. I was only here for a day as I spent the majority of my visit in Apia. It rained during my time at the fales, but it was so peaceful. There was plenty of sunshine before and after the rain that allowed me to enjoy my walks on the beach and the ocean. It is very clean and peaceful. I slept during the rainfall and it was one of the most peaceful sleeps that I can remember. I was able to get plenty of beautiful photos of the beach front, the fales, and the sea. There were kids and adults in the beach and in the water during my visit.

beautiful manono island

Reviewed By k523

I stayed at sweet escape for 2nights and had amazing time during my stay. There is no cars, no dogs and not many mosquitoes around, very peaceful with amazing staff. If i didn't booked the other place I would of stayed for another couple nights. You can just walk around the whole island in 1hr n half and there is a one beautiful beach there as well(most of the island is quite rocky). I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to escape from the busy life. Very relaxing peaceful place. Also all the people that i met in Manono Island were very friendly and kind too.

What an amazing getaway

A half and hour drive I think from town , wouldn't have it any other way, this place was amazing , staff were very friendly, the slides that go into the water were highlights of my trip (felt like a child again) Besides the small changing rooms provided , this spot is the place to go .
