I total recommend this experience of pools with natural warm water and great hospitality of all the staff, that makes you an incredible nice stay. Thanks a lot to all the staff. A special thanks to Julian (the Barbecue man), he is very very kind, the funny guys who enterteiment us all the time and Vanessa our roommaid. 100% recommend this Hotel. Come to have a relax and good time.

Reviewed By RamonaB1986Fortunately I got a very good offer as a birthday present so I have booked this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. This is the first experience of all inclusive in Uruguay and it was worth it!!!!! We have been in Spain, Turkey befire so we have a pretty good idea what this concept means. -Everyone was smiling and saluting - Very nice diversity of parilla ( meat on the grill) -The main chef was very nice and giving the fod as we asked ( we like for example well cooked the omlette or pancakes) - Our boy's wish to go wtih tirolesa ( a kids activity) appeared in our last full day if the hotel so he could enjoy it - so they listen and adjust their program also - We are very much on time regarding the eating time and the food was ready - They really try to entertain you and offer a very nice service for the money and from our perspective they did their best For sure we will come another time and we are warmly recomending this place for a nice escape from the daily rutine if you live in Uruguay, specially in the cold season here.

Relaxed Weekend, nice place
Reviewed By Adrian AWe stayed just for a weekend at this nice hotel. First of all, is mandatory to have a car (rented, at least). Entrance is not that well indicated from the highway. A mile (more or less) of not paved road. Hotel has seen better years, but it still is comfortable. Aging is noticed in the bathroom, but it is not dirt or unattended, at all. Accesibility is an issue in the bathroom. It has a bathtube, with a dedicated thermal water faucet, which is beautiful, but you have to be somehow athletic to enter. The top border of the tube was above my knee-level. Way above. Another big issue in the room was security (not safety). The room is ground-level, with a balcony. We were not able to secure the doors, so we slept feeling a little unsecure. Breakfast is a plus. It has home-made food, all delicious. Orange juice was one of the best I have ever tried. Large variety of flour-based food, cereals, yougurth, coffe, and scrambled eggs as hot option. Lunch and dinner are great too. Local cuisine is well represented. You must try "Milanesa". Two outdor pools and one indor. Decent gym, massage saloon, complete the relaxing options.

Reviewed By Amy WWe had a wonderful trip ... I wanted to do something for my wife's birthday so I had emailed the manager before we got there to see if they had anything special for her birthday. The manager was great by saying they would have a cake ready for her as a surprise after dinner at the restaurant. It was so nice to have this surprise for her. The food was not bad and the cake was free. We got our room witch was nice but could use some up grading. The pool was very clean and we also got a message. If you get a message know it is for relaxing not for a hard massage.

Poor hygiene and poor customer service
Reviewed By Atlantic555Went back to Salto to see my family and we stayed in this hotel thinking is the best in the city. Well... there is a lot to say about this. Customer service was a bit poor, the manager in reception was quite rude one day. I asked her one question and she told me to go back on the next day as she was too busy getting some paperwork in place. I couldn’t believe the attitude! When a customer needs something or asks something you always make the effort to keep the customer happy. That left my husband quite annoyed after had been in the best hotels in the world you never know you are dealing with so always be kind (advice for the staff). Another disappointment was the room hygiene. The cleaner came in every day to do the room but forgot to hoover the room for 7 days!! Our carpet was so dirty we couldn’t believe it! So on the third day I asked in reception again for someone to hoover it, but it seemed they don’t know what that is! Another big disappointment and it was the last one... this hotel is on top of a casino. So that means that every Saturday night you will have loud music till 1:30 am or 2 am that kept me awake and I really wanted to kill someone that night. The positive of this hotel is the location to Salto city and restaurants. Next time we will stay somewhere else.

Hotel needs refurbishment
Reviewed By Yalikavak48990Upon entering my room I felt a stale smell. The double-room was ultra-small and there was room to open my suitcase on the bed only, not on the floor. The windows could not be locked, hence I needed to close the shutter during the night. Also the bathroom was suitable for small people, barely 2 1/2 m2 including shower. Mould in the bathroom. Two small bars of soap and no shampoo. No smoke detectors and no evacuation plan in the room. The safe was useless, as my ipad and other valuables could not fit into the tiny box. Breakfast at a price of USD 6 was meagre, virtually nothing (see photo) and the coffee was so weak I could see the bottom of the cup. During my two nights at this hotel, I had one breakfast only. However, the bright spot was the bed; very hard and good.

Reviewed By Mario VGood breakfast..., has its own hot spring pool, and at a decent temperature. Conveniently located at 100 meters away from the municipal hot springs. Friendly staff. A tiny tv in the room (flat screen though!). Recommended!
