BE AWARE - A SCAM AND A BROTHEL!!!
Reviewed By AdelRadwan1983We booked this hotel for an overnight stay on the 28th of July 2019, since we arrived to Georgia at 02:30 and our next flight was at 17:35. We were met by a "representative" from Marcos Hotel who had our booking details and led us to his car (Number plate: AED 005). After a 10 minute drive we were dropped off at a hotel which didn't look anything like the pictures uploaded here and on other online booking websites just to find out that we were dropped at another shabby looking, deserted place, in the middle of nowhere, which can never be called neither a hotel nor even a motel! Just to find out that we were dropped at Solo "hotel" (a picture of this place is provided in the comment). This definitely looked so different than all the positive reviews that were written about Marcos Hotel (which were the main reason why we booked it in the first place). When we asked the driver whether that was Marcos Hotel, he presented us our booking voucher issued by the online hotel booking website and asked us for the whole amount of our stay (58.50 GEL). We paid and he left immediately, leaving us with unanswered questions, especially that he hardly spoke any English but only Russian. Once we got an internet connection (not provided by the hotel but through a local data SIM Card that we bought from the airport) we noticed that we are not at Marcos Hotel but at Solo Hotel. We went out to discuss this with the receptionist (a lady in lounge wear with a black eye), she was caught by surprise and called the driver immediately, who told me that he brought us here due to problems at Marcos Hotel, I requested that he comes back for us and take us to Marcos Hotel. Few minutes later, he came back with another guy who introduced himself as the manager of Marcos Hotel, when I asked him for identification, he refused to provide any, and he kept on telling us that there was a problem at Marcos Hotel, and they found us an alternative WITHOUT INFORMING US. At that point, after getting to a different hotel without us being notified, seeing the state of the room and the people frequentig it, who started to come late in the night, we were not keen on trusting these people, so we phoned our own taxi to take us to Marcos Hotel. The taxi driver tried to look for the hotel, even calling them but all was in vain. We tried multiple times to drive around using GPS but there was no sign of this so called hotel. We ended up going back to the airport, where we had to stay at a café there from 03:30 until out flight in the afternoon!!! I wouldn't recommend anyone to book this hotel, so as not to pass such horrible experience.

Good hotel for business trip
Reviewed By Orxan IHotel is good and budget. It is very useful for travellers. Rooms are clean and have climatic system. Service and personal is proffesionals. Hotel is budget hotel with cafe and sauna. All is good for it's money.

Soviet Hotel lacking everything
Reviewed By Heiopei11Rooms were clean and the ladies from the service were very helpful. Actually, we stayed there only for the soviet design, but — wysiwyg: No separate shower (the restroom is at the same time a shower, never seen that before), no water boiler, no nothing, just a plain room with very old decor. Lacking everything you would expect from a hotel if you are used to international standards. Not really recommendable unless you are a huge fan of soviet era and feel the urge to experience it on your own.

Four bad weeks in this hotel
Reviewed By RadolI spent 4 weeks in this hotel and it was rather poor experience. Hotel is new, room was decent size, bed was fairly comfortable and cleanness was OK. Rest of furnishing was poor and looked old and used. Most of mornings there was no hot water. Breakfast is served from 8.30 (sic!) so I have no clew how is it. Restaurant is usually closed in afternoons. Laundry comes back non ironed. I could continue like that long time. All in all, for 1 night hotel is OK, but no more. Not for this money.
