This was our first visit to Mrs Tickitâs Pantry and definitely wonât be our last. We had a lovely visit made even better that we could sit inside with our dog, the ladies who work there are very friendly and chatty and really make you and your pet feel welcome. The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble.If you like old-fashioned tea shops that are warm and cosy and you like to drink your tea out of bone China teacups, and like homemade cakes and scones you will love Mrs Tickitâs.Looking at the other tables food it looked nice and fresh and appetizing. The whole place was spotlessly clean, including the toilets which had an old cooking range in (see photo). Weâll be back to try out the lunch.

Had Afternoon Tea for two here today using a Groupon voucher. Lovely homemade cakes on display but unfortunately you donât get them with the Afternoon Tea. It consisted of 8 finger sandwiches (ham and mustard, egg and cress, smoked salmon and cream cheese and cucumber), 4 cocktail sausage rolls, 2 fruit scones with cream and jam, and 6 tiny cakes that probably came from Bookers. Pleasant enough and good value for the £13.95 Groupon price but I would have been disappointed if Iâd paid the full price of £30.00. Come on guys, how about some of your lovely homemade cakes!

We were four tired and weary walkers passing this lovely cafe after an eight mile walk on The London Loop. The owner was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We just wanted drinks, but we could see there was a lovely selection of cakes, including gluten free ones. A regular "pit-stop" for an excellent coffee mid-morning to recover from shopping trauma - outdoor covered and heated seating area - I consider this a vital asset as I can restore my nicotine level.Moving on: a good and varied menu for a light lunch - look for Specials - poached eggs on a spinach base my favourite. Friendly and attentive service.

Stopped off for an impromptu meal at this lovely fish restaurant. Delicious food from the great menu, beautifully presented and at a realistic price. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Will definitely be a frequent venue for a culinary treat
