Is a traditional hotel and restaurant, too. The rooms are large, bright and spacious with en suite facilities. We own 6 rooms.

We stayed 2 nights in Plai cu Peri but we certainly wish we stayed more! The beautiful, wooden building is hidden quietly in the Maramuresean countryside. The staff went above and beyond during our stay to make us feel comfortable. Our cabin contained two bedrooms and a bathroom. The bed was the one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Waking up with donkeys outside our windows each morning, cuddling the resident cat, drinking Romanian beer on the porch in the evening- a very relaxing place to stay! Food was reasonably priced and the coffee in the morning was strong. It is close to Sapanta cemetery, an hour to Barsana Monastery and an hour to the communist prison in Sighetu Marametei. We would love to visit during the summer and will definitely be back! A beautiful beautiful pensiune!!

Passing through the area and getting hungry, we thought we'd have lunch. The plates in which they brought us the food were not washed well, and my fork had traces of food.

The food is great, good prices. Placinta cosasului and gulas in the picture, nice decorations and great atmosphere
