Great restaurant. The food was incredible. 9 in our party and everyone loved their meal from entrée to desert. Loved the finishing touch of complimentary chocolate coated strawberries. Service was great, staff friendly and professional. Atmosphere and surroundings very relaxing. Great looking out over the bay to lights of distant foreshore. All the ladies were presented with a single red rose. Definitely go back.

Who would have thought, A french Bistro in traditional Italian area of Sydney.We had been meaning to try this Bistro for quite some time and finally got there.Menu is full of classics. We opened with the onion soup and steak tartare both dishes ticked the box. For mains we had Beef Bourguignon and the Duck Cassoulet. The beef was as expected as was the Duck, however the duck was a bit skimpy on the beans, chorizo and gravy. $9 for a side of veggies was not value for money.Deserts were great and the 3 cheeses we had were ripe and well presented.Service staff were knowledgeable. Very nice dinner at the buffet with good selection of indian and traditional cuisine, salads, pastas, sweets, fruit and fruit juices, then great selection of options for breakfast, all nicely prepared and well presented. Staff are very attentative and helpful, making this a great place for brekky and dinner.

Hubby and I went here for dinner on Saturday night, we didn't have a table booked but the maitre d' enticed us in out of the cold and got us a table straight away, although the restaurant was almost full. We had salt & pepper calamari for an entree and garlic prawns for a main, a wine and beer. Service was excellent, the food was great and the price was exceptional. Our 18 year old son had recommended Neptunes and we were impressed and will definitely be back. :)

Light & Modern French Fine Dining, yet with BYO.Could be described as Modern Australian with French influences or Lighter French Cuisine. Quality rather than quantity; starting from the initial bread with lovely olive oil and balsamic vinegar dipping sauce, progressing to the ceviche king fish entre & twice cooked pork belly with well balanced accompanying sauce and salad.My partners scallop entre and duck main were also very good.The restaurant has a lovely relaxed décor, with tables not too close together allowing easy conversation without having to raise ones voice. The wine prices are very reasonable, but if you have a favourite bottle of red at home take it with you as will only cost you $10 corkage.Only minor whinges are that steamed vegetables were string beans only and that waiters were slightly on the under attentive side.
