Great service but the food was so weird
The tomyum Gai had so much chicken it was not really a soup
The laksa was ok in flavour but very viscous and more Malaysian than Thai and the stir fry prawn whilst hot ( which was good) was flavoured with mostly sweet chilli that over powered everything
But as we said good service and a pleasant atmosphere

The Royal has been around for years and as a kid we ate here frequently. Having not been for several years we arranged a group of friends for a night out and my thoughts are:
1. It's noisy and busy
2. It's not cheap, even for pub food that's expensive.
3. Small menu.
4. For the price I was surprised you had to get up to order and again to get your meal/ cutlery/ sauce and once more for every drink you wanted.
5. Food was generous servings
6. Staff were friendly.
7. Food tasted good but was nothing to write home about.
All in all if you are up for very basic food done to an alright standard this hotel is probably your scene and I can see why it appealed to me as a child but personally I feel Richmond has so much more to offer than what is at the royal.

We took the family for my mother in laws birthday, dinner was delicious. Service and presentation was superb. Friendly, family atmosphere. My husband and I have been a number is times as a couple and will definitely be back! Take away service is also great :)

Relish is a very popular and busy local establishment.
Food is absolutely wonderful and the prices are sharp too. Coffee is good (we usually get a cap).
The only thing that may need improvement is the service. Some staff are very helpful and lovely, some are rude and impatient. We've been a few times now, and its always the same staff who are a bit gruff.

We stopped in for a pizza on Friday night and took a bottle of wine (byo). We have been popping in to this pizzeria for over 10 years, when ever we are in the area. It is a basic little place which is mainly take away but has about 6 tables to dine in. The pizzas are very good and never disappoint and are mostly under $20 for a family pizza. The also offer meal deals. The bases are so fluffy and aerated like a crumpet. Staff and owners are always friendly and they are always busy with deliveries and take away. They also do basic pastas and ribs, we haven't realy tried these as we like the pizza that much we just go for that. Worth a try, i am sure you will be back.

Dropped in on Friday for quick coffee and frittata. It's a cute little place with a nice outdoor seated area. We ordered some coffees and two frittatas and a potato bake. Our coffees come out after 15 mins and they are nice. Our food comes out another 15 mins. The cafe was not busy and their food is reheated in a microwave, not sure why it took so long. Once the food arrives, it's all wrong, 3 plates of vege bake. We wait another 10 mins for the correct order. Frittatas were too oily but the potato and bacon bake was nice. This place has so much potential and with some good management and Waitstaff it could be awesome. I will try this place again, maybe they were having an off day.

The Brasserie has a great atmosphere, greeted by friendly staff, always with a smile. Delicious food that keeps you going back for more. Great portion sizes for what you pay for and real Quality food you cannot get anywhere else. I truly recommend coming here you will not be disappointed. The coffee is beautiful the best in town!

Been to this Thai a few times, always enjoyed the food! The staff are friendly and know us after only a few visits. I usually order a curry which has lovely flavors and the portions are large. Unfortunately they never provide ice in their drinks and are occasionally out of an ingredient to make certain dishes but these are minor complaints there's plenty of other things on the menu to choose from!!
