We sat out on the terrace overlooking the Mosel for an evening meal. I had pasta with mushrooms (Spätzle mit Pfifferlinge) which was tasty though the generous portion meant it ended up being rather monotonous - could have done with some additional vegetables or something to relieve the palate. We enjoyed a bottle of locally produced Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir). Overall reasonably pleasant.

I own a litle BISTRO i the heart of the older town of Cochem directly at the Marketplace. you will find about 30 seats inside and about 16 seats outside. I offer different coffee/cacao-drinks and specialities and several Teas. As a distinguished "Haus der
The groups decided to have lingered around Cochem until dinnertime. We had our choice to still be in the Markt square and have chosen this restaurant for our last stop. The service was good and staff were courteous and helpful. We enjoyed the food as much as we enjoyed people watching after the meal. we had a good choice of wine too. Mosel is a wine region so we did not miss this opportunity. Altogether our dinner was truly enjoying.

Located in a busy sector of the Cochem restaurant scene, the Gaststatte Noss was a welcome pit stop for lunch during our walk around the town.We found it to be a little cheaper (for European prices) than similar restaurants we had visited, but this was not reflected in the dishes we ordered. Very nice and backed up by good, friendley service. Both outside and inside dining available.

Best place to try award winning wines in 2 ounce portions. The staff, including the well trained school girls all speak excellent English. The food is very light and designed to complement the wines.

We were absolutely blown away by this restaurant. The food was exceptional so if you're looking for traditional local food, this is definitely the place. The schnitzels were amazing, asparagus was cooked just right and the steaks were incredible. They also have very lovely wines and great dessert! We had the wine pudding and apple strudel, both were exceptional! Great service and very nice atmosphere. The price was very affordable also, we ate here on two evenings and paid around 40e for two main courses, a few glasses of wine and one dessert.

It's a lovely place with a great view. However I found it over priced. We ordered a cheese plate and while the presentation was very pretty it was short on substance. We had three pieces of store bought brown sandwich bread with four slices of packaged cheese and a little flavored cream cheese. Visually pleasing bit disappointing overall. The wine was good but it's hard to have bad wine in the Mosel Valley!

We decided not to eat on our ship and walk into town to find some authentic German food. We were seated promptly by a window overlooking the river. Service was friendly but spotty likely due to our lack of German . Food was good. I was surprised by the potato dumplings. Tasty but unusual consistency.
