Hotel Aphrodite Palace /former hotel Velka Fatra/ has been opened in April 2014. It offers its guests 111 rooms in various categories. The hotel has an accurate location, right in the center of the spa town. The complete reconstruction lasted two years. The hotel, hotel Aphrodite, the Spa center and outdoor and indoor Water world are connected with a glass bridge. The breathtaking restaurant and lobby, decorated with marble, onyx and 24-carat gold, are dominating the new hotel. The a la carte concept of APHRODITE PALACE restaurant was set together under the supervision of Marian Filo, chief, who served meals for the British or Dutch queen. New trends of the international gastronomy as well as the traditional domestic specialties are being prepared here.

Reviewed By DotekmeduzyWe go to this hotel regularly. Luxury and perfect relaxation for me. We never found anything that didn't work. Perfect food, lots of perfect food, smiling and nice staff. Wellness is constantly expanding, saunas and swimming pools super. If you head here, don't forget to visit the bar made from the bank's vault with coronation jewels, we asked about it at the reception and provided us with a person who told us something about history. I can only recommend for us.

Reviewed By mazzi_855Hotel Diplomat is one of the place in heart of Rajecke Teplice location. Very nice place for relax with family (swimming pool, wellnes, restaurant). Lot of possibilities for trip (walking, running and bike).

Reviewed By X8186OYjohnsWe stayed only for one night. Room was nice and clean. Spacious enough. We had breakfast included,which was very rich and plenty to choose from! Place has free private parking with cctv. It has wellness, but we did not have time to try it. Staff was nice and polite. There wasn't complementary shower gel or shampoo in bathroom, but it did not bother us, just bring your own if you are planning to stay there. It has free wifi connection. Flatscreen TV with only Slovak channels. Location is absolutely superb! Close to the municipal park, next to few pubs and restaurants, walking distance to city centre.

Reviewed By Mobile14944722390From the beginning till the end of our stay (3 nights) everything was excellent. Our host took us by car for free from the train station. He provided us with al the explanations we wanted , helped us to find attractive price for Aphrodite baths and indicated us excellent restaurants (Encian and the mini browey Flamm). The room was very nice . big and clean. Breakfast buffet was very broad which is not obvoius for a small hotel. Fully advisable lodging.

Poor restaurant management
Reviewed By ludovits194We were in the restaurant on Sunday and the experience was quite bad, i do not want to blame young personell which evidently did not have enough skills and they need the right directions from manager who was missing despite our request to emerge to explain us the failures.

Reviewed By michalc924Prîjemné ubytovanie, milý personál, chutné jedlo, výborné pivko a čerešnička na torte: pivný wellnes. Nám sa podarilo dohodnúť si aj exkurziu po pivovare s ochutnávkou. V sezóne treba určite využiť možnosť zápožičky bicyklov.

The worst I've been for last 15-20 years...
Reviewed By Vlk777alfaIf You want to travel in time and go back to end of 80's and start of 90's You come here... that meals its impossible to descripe its time-machine... Fish was inedible,smelled an on the table was a show of frozen vegetables... You can see my photos... and believe me it was much,much worse... But maybe the chef is a student and is learning how to cook....

Reviewed By 165dohertyPros -very close to main square -good discount in owners restaurant close by - Very quiet -garden pretty cons - parking an issue if house is full - kitchen quite small and dark if there was a crowd - rooms had no mirrors which is awkward if a group is sharing bathroom but owner went out and bought a small cheap one - no cleaning service for a long stay . Floor in apt got very grubby
