My wife, son (12) and I stopped at Mariaâs Kan-Kin in March 2018. It was our first meal on the island after arriving at our VRBO house just up the road. Drinks were great, nice and strong (mango margaritas) and the appetizers were amazing; shrimp skewers and coconut shrimp. We all ordered tacos and they were just âokâ. The restaurant is open air and had an amazing view of the beach and water just below. Highly recommended, especially if you are on a tour of the island and are looking for a place to stop in for drinks and appys. Stopped in here for lunch. It's open to the public. The food and service were excellent. Thanks to Rosa the Capitan for making our trip here our best lunch on the island. The waiters Juan and Orlando were friendly and attentive. The pasta was excellent and portioned just right. The view is incredible as well. A beautiful hotel away from downtown on a private beach. Would highly reccomend it even if just for a meal.

We were here for Taco Tuesday and were waited on by Ruben himself. He's very friendly and helpful, and extremely accommodating. He wants to make everyone feel welcome at his restaurant.The tacos were great, as was the guacamole and queso fundido. My husband is still dreaming about the homemade red sauce! The margaritas were delicious also, and prices are very reasonable (read: inexpensive).The patio had a nice breeze and a good ocean view. It requires a golf cart (or other mode of transportation) if you're coming from the "downtown" part of the island, but it's well worth it. We are glad we came and will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop atmosphere, the views, and the music. I ordered the filet which was prepared perfectly and had a delicious berry reduction drizzled on the plate that went very well with my steak. The lobster portion of my surf and turf was just okay. The triple chocolate cake was excellent.

We came here at the recommendation of our concierge and the food was so incredible that we had to come back. The poblano pepper and breakfast quesadilla are both delicious and we are both win agreement that this is some of the best food we have ever had. We will most definitely return to this little gem. An absolute MUST if youâre in Isla Mujeres.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at this quaint gem of combined Art Studio/Bar/RestaurantEnjoyed great friendly quick service. Had the smashed avocado appetizer and the a mixed meat rice bowl and a delicious hamburger.... so tasty! The rice bowl was layered with so many cool flavours!!! We would totally have that again.Art Gallery is quaint and houses some unique pieces. We bought a sandalwood heart!A great location and enjoyable spot!

My husband and I had a perfect evening dining at Fuego de Mar!! It is a lovely, quaint restaurant with super friendly service and delicious meticulously prepared dishes! Itâs away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, which we found refreshing and relaxing! We had the lobster ravioli (filled with lobster) and the brisket which were both amazing and literally perfect in every way. Our waitress, Anna (so sorry if I am getting your name wrong) from Argentina was so lovely, friendly and fun! We will definitely be back every time we visit Isla Mujeres.
