My original booking at Wagon Wheel Motel was for two nights, but the welcoming atmosphere led me to ask to extend my stay for an additional night. The accommodation was comfortable and provided all that was necessary for my stay. The food was excellent and well-priced. I'm already looking forward to a repeat visit in 2019!!

We stayed a couple of nights across the road in the caravan park and wandered over for a meal. Glad we did. We looked at the buffet but apart from great vegetable and lovely looking salads, the protein choice was limited, so we opted for steak.The rump was delicious and cooked perfectly and was enhanced by the oven baked veg, always a tasty addition to a meal.Hi MikeI'm so pleased you 'wandered over' to try out Gidgee Inn Bar and Grill... and incredibly glad you enjoyed your meal. Thanks for taking the time to write your review. For the price, in outback, anywhere, this was the best value for money I experienced in my 16,000 kilometer journey!!! Order the work burger, get a knife & fork & have fun!!! Typical Aussie burger with the LOT, to a nice steak on the burger too!!!

The owner was fantastic, really nice bloke. The motel rooms are big, bed comfortable, free pay TV, huge shower with brilliant water pressure. The meals are so big neither my husband or I could eat it all, they were also very, very nice. I'd stay here again for sure.

A local woman recommended that we go here for their coffee and cake deal. We were not disappointed at $7.90 each!! Service was great too!! Sadly though, it was Saturday morning and at 11:30am, we were their first customers for the day.
