This little unassuming hotel from the outside, serves up a punch on a plate on the inside. Every meal ordered was not the usual pub fare. Their curried king prawns are a winner by my books. Staff are friendly, food is great and if you arrive on karaoke night be prepared to have a great night.

I stayed here during a recent East Coast drive after the nearby Met Hotel was booked out. The accommodation is pretty standard pub basic with shared bathroom. The room had a TV but the cord was too short to reach the nearest powerpoint, a fridge that didn't work and fan that squeaked excessively. In saying all that - the price was good and the quality of sleep wasn't too bad.

Northern Beaches Bistro have lifted the bar with the good food, which is being presented 5 star. Unfortunately Hong Kong Prawns (my favourite along with many others) is off the menu but more new and exciting choices are on. Asian inspired dishes together with western flavour, gives the customer a range to choose from. Had the seafood platter, oysters were fantastic!

Oysters were amazing, kilpatrick were so tasty. The main meal was very average, we love crispy vegies, however ours were raw, Dehydrated mashed potato and dry fish. The beef cheeks were cooked 19 hours by whoever and placed in a plastic bag then heated up as requested!!! No taste. Once again a club charging restaurant prices for average club meal. Will not return.

Very easy place to get a meal - ranges from fairly cheap to mid range. Meals were quite good from crumbed and fried at the cheaper end to fairly great value meals that are large and filling and sophisticated.Service is good considering the amount of people they have to chase after and clear after - always smiling and helpful - never rude as I've experienced.Desserts again range from simple to quite elaborate and great process.People interested in a band can listen in ease and there are kids playgrounds, pokies and smoking facilities to cater for everyone. All set out well.Overall a good experience and an easy lunch or dinner without the fuss or dramas of cooking and cleaning up after yourself plus you can eat as naughty or healthy as you wish.

A spectacular view of the valley with the moon rising . Typical pub meals, we would of preferred a fresh garden salad on the side. Fresh local produce is what people want to experience in these types of places. Friendly staff

Just to be clear: my food was delicious! Went their with my husband and daughter. Recommend the pork belly with chat potatoes and veggies! Loved the atmosphere and the beach view. Fries tasted fishy my husband said but if you donât mind that then I guess it wonât bother you. But OMG THE FLIES. I know itâs nature and you canât help it some times with a place that is all open but to myself flies=dirty. I enjoyed my food but was swatting like a psycho the whole meal because if it even touched my food I wouldnât be able to eat it, therefore my meal was far from relaxing. Itâs sad because I wonât be returning here despite how much I enjoyed the food. Cleanliness is top priority especially with a little one. Anything? A fan? Repellent? Something has to change here I donât mean a couple flies I mean TONS. EVERYWHERE. But hey if you donât mind flies crawling all over you and your food then itâs good I guess. Thank you for your feedback Heather. We will take this on board.

We are a group of friends who meet each week for a coffee date. We pick somewhere each week. This was our first time at Claudies having heard good opinions.We loved the ambience inside. The staff were friendly and attentive. Our group of 12 had lots of space . Coffee was good and table service prompt and efficient. We loved that we could each pay separately. We will be back!!

Went for dinner with friends..nice menu but pricey. Steaks were around $50 plus had to pay for sauces separately and the steak came with greens..no chips..no potato of any sort. So..that will be an additional $8.
