I bumped into this restaurant cum ice cream parlour cum chocolate fudge outlets. They sell all different types of chocolate which make good souvenirs. You can sit down and enjoy various types of ice-cream. The chocolate fudge is also sold in tube form. Very nice.

Couldnât believe I was in Old Quebec eating a croissant I could have purchased at a grocery store back home..the coffee ..well it was hot..great location which is why we stopped there..great conversations with the people sitting next to us...but the food underwhelmed..the pastries were HUGE which was not a good thing...My partner had a date square which was tasteless and he had a tasteless apple tarts of some sort...busy and crowded..and dirty.staff could have wiped tables down..should have kept walking and found another cafe... give it a pass

Savoury and filling food. Had the chic burger which was very tasty and perfect lunch burger. Also had the side of sweet potatoes that had a certain je ne cest quo, maybe crack Cocaine? Addictive flavour! Like they carmelized the sweetness out of the potatoes. Yum. Good beer selection too. The milkshakes looked good but I didnât have room for them.

The food at this cafe is very, very good. And it makes for much better value than the breakfast at the Hotel if you just want a small breakfast. And the coffee is excellent.The best part though is the great attitude of the folks who run the place (very relaxed, but also prepared to have a chat with you - and remember you, even if you are only in town for a couple of days).Great place to go.
