We found the bamboo cafe after some searching but our taxi driver v youngWe enjoyed the music, the sweet waitress in a Union Jack tee shirt, the view from the open air roof Drinks were reasonably priced and served quickly The food was good but not fabulous but competitive prices We had to send some back to be reheated Overall we had a good experience and the teenage daughter enjoyed the music The reviews for this seemed to change in March 2018I did try to find out if the ownership had changed but sweet waitress didnât understand me.Am interested in reviews which say English was bad in poor English

Donât be put off by the bright lights! This place was really great. We had the seafood hot pot which was amazing. All ingredients incredibly fresh and the staff were amazing, especially the manager, Thai. I would definitely recommend this place for a family. Great night out!!!

We stayed nearby in the Vinpearl hotel and wanted to test a different dinner as provided in the Hotel. So we went out and the nearest was until now the best one. When we arrived the reception desk at the first floor, we got immediately the menu in different languages. A lot of different foods from starters to main menues and deserts from vietnamese to international cuisine. Several beers and wines availible. An good english speeking employee brought us to the fresh fish aquarium to choose our sea food. The choosen crab and shrimp was weighing directly and the price was given to us. While the waiter brought us to the 4th floor with nice sea view, he explained us the cooking of the sea food. After a short time we received the drinks and not far later the fresh cooked sea food. Because we was not really experienced with a crab, the waiter helps us to saparate the meat. Everything very clean and professional. We got water with lemon to clean our hands because we was not able to eat with the shop sticks and took our hands. At least they served us a large dish of vietnamese fried sea food spring rolls. Delicious. All together it was a great dinner and we will one hundred percent meet the restaurant again.Btw. We can not follow the reviews at Google. Everything was perfect. Nicely arranged seating area. We had a burger and pasta and some smoothies. Prices are quite affordable, given itâs located in a touristy area of Halong.The drinks are delicious and for the food, I would say above average because itâs just a cafe. Probably nice for a group.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Visited with our 4, 9 & 10 year old and the buffet had something for everyone. I filled up on traditional Vietnamese fare (really loved delicious mooli salad), my husband favoured the Chinese takeaway favourite black pepper steak, and the children ate various pastas and sushis. We paid in advance for the buffet which included water, but paid extra for beer which wasn't particularly expensive.

You can choose your own seafood from their live tanks. The clams are so fresh and the dipping sauce is very tasty! They serve fresh fruits as well. Service was very good as well! (Near sunworld) moderately priced, wide selection, delicious food!

There are very little places to eat in this area of Bai Chay, no decent restaurants around here. So, that makes this place even better! The owner/head chef is very nice and cooks well, the menu is good but should be refreshed once in a while. My âgo toâ place if i eat in this area. Not too expensive. Yeah, would take my friends here.

Visited restaurant following trip advisor reviews, very quite only one other table when we visited. More cafe style, lots of seafood but as a vegetarian I ended up with wok fried noodles with vegetables again. Husband tried authentic Vietnamese broth with oysters which wasnât to his taste.

Been here everyday on our vacation last week! - Had best coffee, they are the only place in town that roasted their own beans very good quality!!!- Food menu has a bunch of choices vegan/western/ local dish. I like the spicy chicken and the fruit yogurt bowl also a great desert. - Friendly staffs, speak English as a native speaker, so helpful to booked our bus to NinhBinh. Highly recommend!

Our private local guide brought us to Avacado to grab a drink on our way to the airport. We were so glad he did! This restaurant/bar is spacious and decorated very modern/industrial. Loved it! It's very clean and the service was outstanding. But best of all, we had heard locals talking about egg coffee/cappuccino but could not get it outside of Hanoi. Come to find out, the lovely owner, Vi, of this place came here from Hanoi! She was able to get her bartender to make us egg cappuccinos off her secret menu!! Absolutely delicious!
