Went to this place as they had Ashley playing live music. He was amazing and did the gig for free as long as the audience bought his tequila shots. Bar well run and food good. Pool looks lovely and the bar is right on the beach. Most enjoyable experience!

Short walk from our villa, full of families with youngsters. Great Italian menu selection, especially tasty spaghetti oven dishes, the cabanarra looked tasty too. The service by the dark haired lean lad was best of holiday to date, very efficient, good English too. Relaxed family vibe, good food and reasonable prices too.

Nontas is a fantastic traditional Greek Grill Taverna serving authentic fresh Greek food. We have been going there for years and it has always been top quality. In addition to the chicken and pork souvlaki, huge delicious pork chops, grilled chicken, home made beefburgers, twice a week succulent chickens can be seen roasting on the spit. At the weekend home made kondosouvli is prepared for those who want to sample this local delicacy. There is a large selection of freshly prepared salads and the wine is excellent. Nontas is a family run taverna and they all speak English and are very friendly and polite. It is outstanding value for such good quality original food.

Last night we had the best sea food platter that we have had in Greece over the last 20 years. The variety was perfect and everything was very fresh and perfectly cooked. The crispy white wine was an ideal match. The accompanying dips were all home made and delicious. The salads were also very tasty and we were offered a wide choice of traditional oven cooked Greek food which we will try next time.The Modon is a family run business and the service is very friendly and professional. The prices are very moderate, but the standard is very high.The Modon has a new kitchen and toilets and the whole place was spotlessly clean.If you want to have a fabulous meal with a sea view in a relaxed atmosphere the Modon is the place for you.

A local recommendation from Greek friends and tourists, Klimataria gave us a delightful lunch. Spanakopita salad, pictured, was quite a lot more sophisticated than we expected, beautifully presented and so tasty. Light crispy pastry in slices on top. Very reasonably priced and great service. We were so impressed that we plan to spend a night in Methoni next year, purely in order to enjoy an evening meal here. Pleasantly cool covered dining room with spectacular views of Methoni castle. Just wonderful.

We chose shrimp saganaki, ceaser salad, spicy meat balls, and seabass. Everything was tasty. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere as it was popular with families. The only shame was that the team were rushed of their feet and weren't very attentive, we waited ages for them to clear the table.The restaurant is popular with families, so you will likely have to wait for you order to be taken and for the kitchen to process all the orders.

This was a second time we visited Andreas' restaurant. This time we ate fillet steak and it was absolutely perfectly done, medium rare, on the grill. The first time we had fish and it was also really fresh and delicious. We can recommend this restaurant. The family speaks fluent German.

On arrival, we were greeted as long lost friends even though we had never been there before. The menu had a varied selection and the food arrived quickly after it was ordered. The service was good throughout and all the staff very helpful. We all enjoyed the food, the ambience and the evening.

In the heart of the Greek summer where all restaurants offer the same standard « Greek » food for the tourists, this restaurant is different. You choose your food in the kitchen. We had giouvetsi, gigantes, gemista, and a Greek salad. Nothing extraordinary but good tasty real Greek food. Very efficient, no frills service, very good prices.
