Vorsicht! Lieber vermeiden! Abzocke!
Reviewed By peterhL2281OYIch wollte mit meiner Familie ein paar Tage in Pulheim verbringen und haben uns für das Familienzimmer entschieden, da auch unser Hund dort unter kommen konnte. Dann kam die Ernüchterung. Direkt bei Ankunft war Vorkasse gewünscht. Dann stellte sich heraus, warum. Als die Zimmertür geöffnet wurde, kam uns der Gestank von kaltem Zigarettenrauch entgegen. Die Lampenschirme mitsamt der Fassung kamen uns an mehreren Betten entgegen. Konnte meine Kinder gerade noch davon abhalten, da Hand anzulegen. Schmutz in den Ecken, eine Zimmertüre lies sich nicht schließen, Fernseher funktioniert nicht und Mülleimer gibt es auf Anfrage. Nach längerem lüften, lies sich das Problem mit dem Gestank nicht lösen und Abends beim Eintreten, musste man sich im Dunkeln vortasten, da eine Glühbirne im Eingangsbereich nicht für notwendig erachtet wird. Meine Kinder haben sich geweigert in diesem zu schlafen und da kein vergleichbares Zimmer in der Größe vorhanden war, haben wir dieses "Loch" verlassen. Der Geschäftsführer hat dazu keine Stellung bezogen, auch überhaupt nicht reagiert. Er scheint wohl in dieser Position völlig fehl am Platz zu sein. Aber warum auch, der Kunde hat ja in Vorkasse bezahlt. Das Geld hat er ja, warum den noch sich der Kritik stellen und eine Lösung finden! Der einzige Lichtblick ist die nette Angestellte, welche versucht hat, die Situation zu retten. UNBEDINGT MEIDEN!

Spacious room, nice breakfast, perfect location
Reviewed By Jowan SBooked a 2-person room. Room was surprisingly big, with a spacious bathroom. Nothing too fancy, but everything you'd need was available, clean and modern. Good bed and pillows. Nice breakfast as well, much choice and a nice place to eat with a view on the garden. Can't comment on the price as I booked it dirt cheap somewhere, for us it was totally worth it!

Horrible service and food
Reviewed By gogacrowhen I went for breakfast the service was poor. Ignorant owner and her son did not pay any attention to me at all. Later I sit down for a diner just because I couldnt go anywhere else. I gave a try and asked what is good to try .. I was recomended Chevapchichi even that meal wasn't on the menu. The meat was horrible.. Probably frozen and unfozen many times. You can taste deep freez smell overspiced to mask the bad dark meat. I won't come back.

convenient for travellers
Reviewed By annegoddardIf travelling via the autobahn east or west this hotel is ideal. Modern clean small hotel in a commercial district. Nearby Pulheim has restaurants to suit all tastes or you can visit the nearby Kentucky Chicken just down the street. Breakfast was limited and the dining area small. Not suitable for touring but for all other purposes recommended.

Great hotel with loads of charm
Reviewed By Jonathan CStayed for one night on business. Staff were friendly on check in. Room was good size and clean with bathroom en suite. Bed was comfy. Room overlooked the main road but the windows when closed were very good at keeping the noise down. There was a fan in the room but no air conditioning. The hotel is in a nice area, with plenty of shops and a mix of new and old buildings, about 40km from Cologne. Breakfast was great with a wide selection of hot and cold items.

Good value for money..
Reviewed By ProfDrMaus..at busy times, at quiet times you get a lot more for the same rate, closer to or more convenient for Cologne. Rooms are basic but clean, breakfast is usually included and there is a pub cum restaurant downstairs, serving dinner.

Reviewed By 570414586Friendly staff, plenty place to park your car and good dinner in the restaurant. My room could use redecorating but was clean. The breakfast is good with plenty of choice. The hotel is easy to find on the Main Street.

Hard to find but worth it in the end
Reviewed By Frog-Austhe distrustful owner insisted we pay cash for our room before even showing it to us - which I found particularly offputting. Also he only takes cash or german cards which is most inconvenient when travelling for ran extended period of time. Having said that, the room was very well appointed with a kettle, microwave, tea and coffee. There is a nice quiet courtyard where we had breakfast having bought some buns in a bakery round the corner. There is also a very good restaurant within walking distance
