Hard to describe how delightful this little place is. The decorating is simply fantastic. My first thought on entering was- Disney. It is meticulously crafted and cared for. And it is beautiful and clean. And the staff is fantastic. They are helpful, friendly, efficient and quick.

It is open 24 hours a day for 5 days. It is a great place to study or read, with some very comfortable tables and couches. And the back porch/patio is fantastic!

I had the Reuben and it was one of the best that I had ever had. Simply delicious. The price point was also great.

You MUST go to this place to experience it. I loved the place. I will be back.

In the heart of downtown Pulaski, this coffee shop is a wonderful place to grab a quick lunch. The decor is unique, and the shop maximizes its small floorplan by creating unique seating arrangements. Although pricey for wraps and sandwiches, the food is consistently good.

Hickory House

Well, here we were roaming through this small town wondering what was scenic. We dropped in the Frank Mars mansion then off to the Trail of Tears museum.

We got back in the car a noticed through the trees this restaurant with about two dozen cars in front - mostly TN Highway Patrol cars. "Has to be a great place!"

Lunch was either $8 for the unlimited salad bar - or, get this, $8 for the full course meat lunch buffet.

I went for the meat! Wife went for the salad bar!

The home cooked meatloaf was super - as well as the catfish. Fried potatoes and green beans, and to top things off a homemade peach cobbler.

The salad bar was complete with fresh vegetables.

Best money I have spent.

Go find this place . . .

We stopped at Nick's on the way to Florida. Nick himself greeted us warmly and shared information on some menu items and their choice of specials. We had the lamb falafel and a burger. Both were excellent! Don't let the location or exterior appearance fool you. You'll miss out on friendly service and outstanding food.

Dinner stop traveling from FL to IN. Good menu choices and very reasonable prices. Husband had catfish filet (1 is plenty) and I️ had a chicken tender salad. Both very good. Happy hour beers. Nice looking salad bar but placed strangely: behind the check in desk. There is a bar side and restaurant side. Out waitress was a gem. Would definitely return.

Sands Restaurant

Reviewed By Hrpamw - Decatur, Alabama

My husband and I stopped at Sands Restaurant for a late lunch or early dinner; however you wan to look at it. I saw the place on Trip Advisor and it looked like a nice little place. From the outside it is reminiscent of a country cabin so I was anticipating a similar look on the inside but I was disappointed. It is just one big room with tables and chairs, no atmosphere at all. However, there are a few interesting photos on the wall near the restrooms.

Our server greeted us and was very friendly. She went on break while we were still deciding and another server came up to take our order. We told her we needed a little more time to decide. She walked over to a table where the original server was taking her break and began talking to a customer at the table. We made our choices but the second server never even looked our way and then went to answer the phone. Luckily the original server finished her break and came to get our order. She was very good; I'm afraid that if we had the other one, the service score would have been much lower.

We both ordered the prime rib sandwich with sweet potato fries. It normally comes on a hoagie bun but we opted for wheat bread instead. The sandwich comes with a side au jus. We should have ordered our bread toasted because the au jus just soaked through. However the sandwich itself was pretty good. The sweet potato fries came with brown sugar and cinnamon. They were no hot but tasted pretty good even though the brown sugar was in clumps on top.

We tried their mini pies for dessert. They have different flavors and they are made by the owner. We tried the pecan and the chocolate...we decided not to get the ice cream with them. Our server heated them up just a little and added chocolate sauce on mine and caramel sauce on my husband's. I think his was a little better than mine.

Over all, the best part of the meal was the sandwich and the server...I neglected to get her name.
