Reviewed By Y7613VTemilylThe resort is super quiet, mostly for older couples and families, there is a time share component. Appreciated the washer and dryer soooo much! Pool was awsom, beach was no bueno due to seawood but the staff really tried to clean it through out the day. Food was amazing! You do need dinner reservations but was not a problem getting any. Top shelf liqours were all included- don julio, 1800 etc, there is a menu. Rooms are awsom with super comfortable beds and pillow menu. Night turn down service included little animal figurines. They also include bug spray in all the rooms. Airport transfer was included! We also had massage at the spa, i get massages monthly due to my back and my occupation so believe me when i say the therapists here were excellent! Downside is there is no hydrotherapy/steam/sauna. I think the staff were the best part, so friendly and helpful, and I feel like that gave a really relaxing atmosphere!

The restaurants offer a delicious variety of food. It’s the perfect place for relaxation. The reason we continue to return is first and foremost the excellent staff and service. They always go above and beyond to make all the guests feel special. I would like to give special mention to the following staff members: Fatima Young(Guest Services Manager), Alfonso(Food and Beverage Guest Services), Christian Pool(Lobster House manager), Anais(Chez Isabelle manager), Rodrigo and Matilde(pool servers), Berenice and Inocencia(Hostesses at the Kitchen Table), Beatriz and Sergio(Aroma baristas), Jennifer(Hostess at The Grill), and the following servers Pablo and Geronimo(Lobster House), Jose(Agave), Manuel and Mario(Oregano), Padron(Grill), Bernardo(Chez Isabelle), Edwin(Kitchen Table). Beautiful hotel and grounds.....are we done with Covid yet??
Reviewed By CMiller494We just got back from a 5 day trip to Sapphire for a friend's birthday. The hotel grounds are beautiful, well maintained and ALL the staff was super friendly. We didn't encounter a single staff member who was not friendly or willing to help with whatever we needed. Our check-in was a bit slow and lackluster. It took us a solid 45 minutes before someone was able to get to us because there was a couple causing a ruckus about their room. It would have been nice to have another staff member called to come assist us. We were missing prime sunset time!!!! We stayed in the Preferred Club and were given room 517. We upgraded to an Ocean View room which was gorgeous. The only downside was there was a MASSIVE....i mean MASSIVE migration of butterflies so they were EVERYWHERE outside our room by the ocean. So our first night we weren't able to enjoy the tub on the patio and then the second night the regular bug situation was out of control. I attribute this to the storms that had all come through the week before so there was nothing the resort could do about it. But the 3rd and 4th night were gorgeous and we were able to be out on the patio more. The 3rd floor had nice vaulted ceilings and the room was fantastic. Covid has really been the downfall of the AMResorts brand. We have done Secrets in Cabo and Cancun, pre-COvid, several times and then 4 other stays during Covid. Its not cool to continue to have to wear masks at various places in the resort, not being able to have food delivered to our chairs or poolside, and then the dang Covid tests to get back into the US (again I know AMR has nothing to do with that). But the mask situation needs to stop. We don't need them on planes, we don't need them in the airport, and we shouldn't need them at the resort. We spoke with some other friends who stayed at other chains and their Covid restrictions are done with. So please AMR....stop the mandatory masks. Allow poolside food services again and just let people wear masks if they want to. ok.....enough of that stuff. The resort is HUGE....we got our steps in every day just walking to and from. Like I said, the grounds are amazing. We got to pass Oreo the infamous cat daily and then all the coati too. If you aren't a fan of walking far I would recommend building one or two, and then maybe 12 or 13. We were in Building 5 and with a fast walking pace down to the Preferred Club Lounge and back it was about 15-20 minutes. The main pool was beautiful. Tons of chairs around with palapas. There were very few actual umbrellas to move around but the palapas created TONS of shade and were great. If you have been to a Secrets or Dreams,...or any other resort....you know that people come out early and throw towels and a hat or magazine down on chairs, then go to breakfast, and don't come to the pool til later in the morning. So there was a lack of chairs but I noticed numerous that had just towels on them with no personal property so it was easy to snag those. The main pool was clean and the staff was constantly cleaning stuff. I don't mind the guy cleaning the pool in the morning hours or even fixing some of the pool tiles. The resort is open all the time so when else would they fix it?? The preferred pool appeared to be an afterthought. Tons of cabanas that you can get there for free and we were able to get 3 in a row for a friend's birthday for two of the days we were there. This pool should have been like 100m closer to the beach with a better view. You only get to look at the foliage around the pool and that is all you can see. There is little wind since it is in the middle of the resort so its gets hot as heck. The restaurants are all the same as the other AMR properties. Same names and types of foods. We went to Portofino our first night for dinner. I got the lasagna and my wife got the steak. Both were just eh. We have had better at the other AMR properties in Cabo. We ate at the World Cafe for dinner one night which was decent and also had breakfast there. Lots of options. Go see Consuelo at the omelette bar! She is awesome and makes some monster omelettes. We booked the wine room at Portofino for our friend's birthday. We ended up paying $150 a couple and our friend was given the impression it was going to be a "special"menu. It was not....it was the EXACT same menu as in the restaurant for the "surf and turf" which was 3 shrimp and the same steak my wife was given a few nights before. The $150 was a "credit" for a bottle of wine. We essentially paid a bunch of money for a room, 2 bottles of champagne, and 2 bottles of wine but had the same meal we would have got for free in the main room. Our friend was sold on this which I feel like she was kinda duped. Oh well. Room service was great. It's not 24 hours anymore which was super lame. I believe it ends at 1145pm or so. The beach was amazing soft sand and they cleaned all the seaweed as much as possible. People complain about it on a lot of reviews and the smell. I didn't smell anything. You can EASILY get in the water and pass the seaweed after a few feet and you are in a gorgeous soft sanded floor with calm waves and a beautiful temperature. One thing I heard a few people talking about was tipping. YES!!!! Tip your servers and anyone who lends you a hand. Everyone we met works so hard there. You should have seen Consuelo's eyes light up when I gave her a tip for making my delicious omelettes for the third day in a row. So if you stuck around long enough to read all of this the resort was great. We traveled with no kids but it looked like they had a lot for kids too. Waterslides and entertainment staff doing stuff. The kids club had a huge splash pad too. A few things they need to step their game up at is the quality of the food and the Covid stuff. The Covid stuff should be consistent with other resorts nearby which it isn't I have honestly debated not traveling to another AMR property until they lift the Covid protocols. Enjoy your trip. This place is gorgeous and fun.

Perfect winter sun get away
Reviewed By Curiosity35135641511We visited over the New Year period, travelling as a family of four with kids aged 5 and 2. This was our first winter sun holiday and this resort set a high bar. We loved our stay here - the resort is a good size, offering a balance between enough choice of restaurants etc but without being so big as to be hard to get around. The kids' pool was great, as you could comfortably sit on a lounger and let the kids splash around. We enjoyed all of the restaurants. We upgraded to a room with it's own pool and hot tub and this was a great decision, it really made the holiday extra special. My daughter keeps asking when we can go back to Mexico...

Reviewed By DaveAberdeenWe arrived to be greeted by very efficient bell boys and check-in staff, although our room wasnt ready at 3pm. Taken to room on third floor of Block 1 with a pool view. Room immaculate with spacious balcony, large sitting area and large bathroom with his and her sinks, huge shower and jacuzzi bath. The bed proved to be extremely comfortable. Breakfast is amazing!! Huge selection of hot and cold food buffet style. Edwin in the buffet is the star of the show with his amazing service and banter. The service at poolside is top notch with a constant supply of drinks. Angel take a bow! We found the restaurants to be slightly limited in menu choices but good quality of fare. Our opinion but Mercure was the best Unfortunately we had a few days (4) of poor weather and there is not much to do around the hotel for 60 somethings if that is the case. We also found it difficult to adjust to the fact that it is not possible to go out of the hotel and walk somewhere or get a bus to somewhere. Taxi to Puerto Morelos approx £12 return, Cancun £65 return. All in all I enjoyed the luxury of Dreams Jade and have only not given a 5 rating due to location and proximity to a "street"

And yes, they all speak a decent amount of English, but I see people on here complaining. Probably the same ugly Americans that say “You’re in America! Speak English”. You are in a Spanish speaking country so if you’re on about that maybe you should have used your fancy iPhone to break out google translate Karen. First world problems. Don’t be an ugly American. Must have Rita’s tacos and do the snorkeling excursion on the catamaran. Favorite night- name that tune.

Reviewed By fivefergsThis was our 2nd stay at the dreams Natura resort. The staff and service is amazing. The restaurants were amazing from the servers, managers and food. Our favorite restaurant is Himitsu. We are 2 nights off the regular menu and 1 night at the teppanaki grill. The sushi was great. My husband said his flank steak at the Blue Water grill was the best he has had at any resort. We had 3 days of rain on and off but the grandson (9) found the jacuzzi tub on the balcony so he was able to be in the tub during the rain. He also made lots of friends in the kids club and the girls were so much fun. Thank you to oceana restaurant - edgar and omar (mgr), Himitsu Freddy and alonzo, pool drink runners , uvc club bartenders and sam, crystal. and so many others I don't have their names.
