A great place for relaxing
Reviewed By alexander19621962We stayed recently at Apartments Karpetis for 5 nights and we definitely enjoyed every moment of it. First, the big warm real smile of Dimitris when you arrive welcomes you, offering fresh fruits from his garden. Then, the fresh, spotless room with this great view over the green well kept garden and the sea. Place offers everything you need to totally relax, forget your problems, beach is nearby, crystal clear clean fresh waters, ideal for families. No sounds during the night let you forget your worries, reading, listening to music, enjoying the stars in the sky. Dimitris gives you bottles of water, sugar, coffee and tea to start your day and he d do anything you d ask for. We highly recommend this place, away from crowds, for a total recover from the city s stress. See you soon, Dimitris, and thanks for everything

Great location!
Reviewed By Razvan CVery nice villa in Psakoudia, 3 minutes from center (where you can find restaurants, bar and minimarkets), 3 minutes up to a supermarket and 2 minutes up to the beach. Hosts are incredible nice, discreet and polite people, who help you immediately if you need something. In front of the villa they have a big green yard where you can spent some time in the evening. They have several parking places in to the yard. Room was very clean, with air condition and well-equipped. Good wi-fi, free of charge.

Shaped pool for upgraded guests FOOD - ok so we’re not really fussy people but the food here was due a complaint to reps - if you like salad and cheese you’re all set because that’s pretty much all there is We had to ask for chips as a choice - had to complain there was no kids choice I’ve had spaghetti three days in a row now The baklava is top notch though - DO NOT BOOK ALL INCLUSIVE DO NOT BOOK HALF BOARD ITS NOT WORTH IT — FOR WHAT YOU PAY IN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ROOM ONLY AND FOOD INCLUDED YOU COULD SAVE AT LEAST £100 on a two week stay by eating out every night with decent food on a family of three. On half board you have no drinks included with dinner not even a glass of water - there’s a coffee tea hot chocolate machine which is good but only at breakfast so if you got children who rely on bottles bring supplies There’s a kettle In The room which is decent quality but again bring supplies of water tea soft drinks etc As there’s a fridge also Restaurant round pool for drinks for example Red Bull £6 Coke £4 Cocktail £10 —- no joke and not even that big The food round pool is actually very very nice - compliments where it’s due - it is nice again a little pricey- but in this instance I think the price reflects the good quality so no issues there Staff are super nice -HOWEVER NOTE TO MANAGEMENT- YOU NEED TO RESPECT AND VALUE YOUR STAFF MORE - they’re human beings and need to be treated nicer - don’t speak to them like dirt and it wouldn’t hurt allowing them to use the pool ie lifeguard or aqua gym lady - what’s the harm management!!!! Lighten up it’s hot !!! There not very much to do here - there’s like four silly mini market gift shops things that are poop and there’s a handful of restaurants literally there’s a small bar that has a bouncy castle and trampoline but that is the highlight for kids - In my opinion this is more of a couples resort for relaxation this is not a place to come for families with kids no way Look elsewhere if you have kids ages 3+ because it has the big opportunity to get very boring - we are just on the line Again beautiful hotel nice staff limited food nothing to do within or outside hotel Limited WiFi also We are very well travelled and I would recommend Cyprus protaras. Turkey marmaris or Portugal albufeira or Greece rhodes over here unfortunately - unless couples pure relaxation then here is perfect x

Last minute booking to Halkidiki
Reviewed By FrankVerheyenWe stayed at the Melissa gold coast hotel from the 11th until the 18th of october with a last-minute booking. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It is a mid-sized, family managed hotel, located in the center of Psakoudia (Sithonia). It is very close to a good quality (private) beach, but due to the period we were here, it was not really beach weather. Even then, Giannis provided sunbeds just for us. During the season, the hotel offers a swimming pool and enough entertainment for young and old, including a beach bar. Also regular Greek nights are organised. We had a big enough studio with a view at a small park, which was basic and clean. It had a small kitchen with enough equipment (pots,pans knives, forks, a waterheater, refrigerator and an oven with 2 pits). It had a well-sized bathroom and a good size terras. The double bed had a good matrass. After a few days, it became colder, but we were pleasantly surprised we could turn the airconditioner to also heat up the room! This was really an added value. Nothing was too much to ask. We arrived at 3'o clock in the night and Giannis was still waiting for us to give us the key and showed us the way! (Just one hint if you rent a car and use the GPS. The hotel is in the middle of 2 streets, but the main entrance is not at the beach side, but at the upper street). Although we were the only guests present, Giannis prepared each day a great breakfast for us and he had the time to sit down with us. He provided a lot of information what to do and what to visit. He even showed us enough information to do a 3 day tour around Halkidiki and each day he listened proudly what we did the previous day. (You could hear that he was very proud of his home region). Since the hotel was located in the middle of Psakoudia, you have a big choice of restaurants, but again, due to the time of the season, only 2 were open (which we could find). There were no shops open, but you could find 2 supermarkets in the neighborhood. In short, we had a great time at the Melissa Gold coast hotel, also thanks to Giannis and we will definitively come back. We also liked Halkidiki. It was our first visit to the mainland and although the weather was not very coöperative (which was to be expected that late in the season), we enjoyed visiting the peninsula. Thanks to Giannis and his family to make our visit a very enjoyable one. Hope to see you again soon!

Basic good positioned cheap accomodation
Reviewed By B1714DIf you're not a demanding person these apartments are a perfect choice. They're situated in the center of Psakoudia village only 100 met, 2 min walk from the beach. It's a two-storey house with all rooms having a balcony with a sea view. I recommend rooms on the second floor for best views. Apartments are basic, nothing fancy, but at the same time with everything you need. There's a small kitchen with a fridge, stove and sink. Small bathroom with a shower and toilet and washbasin. Living space with satellite TV and AC included in the price. Best is the balcony with a table and two chairs with direct sea views. Free parking in front of the house. Wifi had some issues and was good only downstairs and sometimes on the balcony, not in the rooms. Cleaning could be improved as it wasn't done during our six days stay, neither the sheet change. Anyway, considering the price at around 45 Euros night in peak season (August) I found it a good deal. TIP: For better prices call the owner directly on phone to arrange it.
