In viaggio verso Sud decidiamo di uscire ad Orte per il pranzo, TUTTI i ristoranti sono chiusi per ferie e ci indicano questo stabilimento termale. Piscina super affollata con carnaio di gente vociante; vediamo una sala ristorante vuota e alla nostra richiesta di mangiare ci conducono di fronte ad un banco di tavola calda assediato da avventori sudaticci in costume da bagno....... Meglio lasciar perdere....

We visited the restaurant during our holiday in Italy - we were 15 and the staff catered for us really well. Have to say leave room for the antipasti - absolutely LOVELY! Great local wines. This Pizzeria/Forno in Orte is really good. It is family run and they could not be more helpful. They will also deliver the food to their house. The lasagna is particularly good. It is located opposite the hospital in Orte. Would definitely recommend. Caroline

Il locale si presenta come bisognoso di essere rimodernato, senza un quadro alle pareti, con tavoli ed apparecchiatura scura, dando una sensazione di tristezza.I bagni sono risultati ai limiti della decenza come pulizia.Le forchette erano scompagnate. Non ci sono stati portati i bicchieri per l'acqua, pur avendo preso anche questa oltre al vino. I bicchieri per l'acqua, una volta richiesti, apparivano sporchi ma in realtà erano probabilmente rovinati e punteggiati dai troppo lavaggi subiti in lavastoviglie.Non viene prestata attenzione per l'ordine di arrivo dei clienti, sicché chi è arrivato dopo di noi è stato servito prima.La cameriera è stata comunque gentile e si è presentata col sorriso.Abbiamo ordinato delle pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale, che sono risultate squisite, fatte a mano, cotte al dente e in porzione abbondantemente.

On our way back to Rome, we stopped in Orte to grab a quick bite to eat. We spotted this from the highway and got off. This is just not a pizza restaurant . They offer coffee, pastries, salads, sandwiches, and full dinners at very reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dining room was clean and neat. We enjoyed two rice balls and a slice of white pizza â all delicious. We were able to park right in front, so that we could see the car while we ate our food. It was a good stop.

Unique ambiance, menu rich of local and regional dishes, all 8 persons at my table were well please with what they ordered, well presented, simple and delicious. Wine selection also good, and the house wine for a change just as good as some of the more expensive bottles. Service was not rushed, efficient and courteous. The price was well proportioned to the quality and service. I will return

Delicious pizza! Good red 'vino da tavola' with an interestingly metallic taste. The service was responsive to all the needs, very impressive. Superb value per money, will definitely come back, especially since it is easy to reach from the superstrada.
