Although we discovered this restaurant is a few kilometers north of Acquapendente, it was worth the extra effort to find and drive to. The husband and wife chefs and owners are wonderfully creative and skilled.
I ordered the "Chef's Surprise" and my husband ordered from the menu.
The highlights of of our dinner this evening were the cucumber ice cream on sour cream, the marinated trout with pineapple and coconut, the steamed egg white/fried yolk and bacon-pecorino sauce ( so very good!), the venison in a onion crust and the desserts. We each ordered one dessert and received FIVE! Before dessert was served, we received a "Waiting for dessert" small dish of creme brule with lemon. OMG!!!!
In addition to our dessert order were small filled donuts, firm jellied lwollipops, wine cookies, and an assortment of five or six mini sweet tastes. I had raspberry sorbet and to the side it was garnished with meringue dollops, fresh berries and assorted other flavor tidbits.
This was a stellar dinner with wonderful wine pairings selected by our server cum sommelier. This restaurant well deserves its Michelin star and more.

We stopped here on our way from Rome to Florence. Our driver had made a reservation for us and we got a table outside for lunch. It was delicious. But not only was the food delicious, but it was artfully presented. Almost too pretty to eat, but we did and we so enjoyed it all. The service was perfect as well. So nice to find a restaurant like this in one of the most beautiful towns in the world!

An amazing spot where local ingredients, traditional dishes and delicious food are presented by warm, courteous, professional and attentive staff. This is just a gorgeous place in a unique setting. Simply a fabulous gem in the Cimini Hills. I have been eating at the Azienda Agricola Vazianello for many years: it always feels like being home, food is always superb and I just can't wait to go back. Highly recommended.

We were visiting this village to attend a live jazz gig and stopped here for a quick bite. Even though the restaurant was completely booked out for the dinner service they served us a very tasty pizza and a Peroni on their outdoor waiting area. We thoroughly enjoyed the pizza, and the jazz later that evening. Highly Recommended.

We were recommended the Antica Rota ristorante by our B&B (La Loggetta) host. We 4 travellers had spent the afternoon touring Civita, just outside Bagnoregio and were looking for evening dinner. What a treat, the food was wonderful, 4 different dishes, all tasty, cooked perfectly, presented well, the service was the kind you hear about, our waitress was cheerful, fun and helped with suggestions when asked and otherwise left us to enjoy our selections unless otherwise asked. From the antipasto to the dolce it was a wonderful experience. Our only regret we were leaving the next morning and would not be returning for a second meal.

The meal was wonderful and included such delights as a complimentary starter of a papa al pomidoro then a shared smoked duck antipasto, then sensational dish of the day tiny gnocchi with a white wine and cream duck ragu and finally for me a wood grilled pork fillet and tempura vegetable skewer with a simple rocket salad and olive oil bruschetta and succulent wood grilled spring lamb chops for Leonie. Gareth had the same starter as us then spaghetti with fish and cockles then octopus whilst Leanne had a beautiful dish of ravioli parcels
Owner Manuella served us and she was wonderful. We had a fantastic white wine from Castello di Gussago and a superb red from Tenuta Iuzzolini. I finished with a great Tiramisu and we had a mix of liqueurs to finish.

The restaurant, hard to find, is comfortable. The menu is limited but each and every dish we ate was extraordinary delicious and well presented. The tuna is absolutely divine. There is a research of excellence in this young crew, chef and service, creating this unique experience. Eating here in a pure pleasure, happiness, bonheur. The presentation is great, but over all the preparation, the taste and the flavor create a wonderfull dinner, more than a dinner, memories. They take great care of you as much as the food served to you.
I cannot praise enough Chef Andrea and his small team. Mille grazie
