If you are in Tropea area you need to come to this restaurant. We had filled aubergines, calabrese antipasto, grilled peppers and aubergines for starters. Mains fileja pasta with beans and fileja ritrovo (tomatoes, olives, peppers and bacon) fantastic! Seconds Spiedini (mixed meat chunks on a spid) and lamb chops. Fantastic homemade chips! Try the house wine, we has red! What is different in this restaurant is that the food is home made style! All this for 60 euro. Do not miss this place!

The outdoor seating area is in the middle of a piazza...gorgeous.The staff was super available and patient.We had a picky child who wanted particular things like extra olive oil to dip the bread in etc...and they were super helpful in meeting all needs.The food was exceptionally amazing....I had a started of tomatoes with the local onion salad and friend calamari which were super tasty and for main had their grilled tuna with the local onions on top...which i still dream of having.My sister in law had burrata and 'nduja which she was dying from all the delicious flavors, my brother had a pasta and steak and was more then satisfied.This restaurant is a MUST in Tropea.

We would like to try the best (Tripadvisor) pizza in Tropea, but were a bit disappointed by the cremated crust we received. The cheese and filling was also very running. The (friendly) waiter just pulled up his shoulder and said something about the oven.. The taste of my pizza gorgonzola and the part that was not burned was very tasty though. The quattro stagioni was not very special.I can not give more than 2 stars for this, sorry.

Very good burgers. Range of beef burgers and a veggie burger option, which I had. Come with very nice rosemary sauce and cheese sauce, and roasted veggies on top of the veggie burger pattie. â¬10.50-12.50 for a burger. No chips included, you have to buy them for around â¬3 extra. 'Chips' are the American type and actually freshly made crisps, so would advise instead going for the potatoes option to go with the burgers. Menu is a little confusing, maybe because of the English translation, so ask a server to clarify. Servers weren't overly friendly but okay. Chairs weren't particularly comfy. Overall good food at an okay middling price for Tropea.

wow, we came here the first night after a long drive from vieste. (it was the only restaurant open on sunday night on the main street. so take note if you are hungry and come here. it is also one of the few places that stay open during siesta time. hard working people.) my husband ordered the spaghetti with clams and he loved it.i ordered eggplant parmigiana with swordfish. it was ok as it was not very hot.today we came back for lunch and we ordered insalata tropeana. big portion of very fresh cucumber, lettuce and red onion. and i ordered this local dish (i cannot say it in italian as the name of the salami is very exotic) it is local pasta made with spicy salami and grilled eggplant bits. it was beautiful to look at; and the explosion of flavor is to die for. i kept making "umm" sound as i could not believe how good it is. it is different, and it is so good.i have been traveling to italy since 2000, and southern italy for the past 5.i have had so many pasta dishes, and i immediately told my husband this is now one of my favorites: it is different (i love pasta with sea food but you get there every where in italy), and this one is simple yet packed with flavor (like the best made spaghetti con aglio, olio e peperoncino!) i come back just for this dish! (ps, they also have the best wifi, and service is very prompt)

This restaurant was a five minute walk from our apartment, so very convenient if we didn't want to drive in the evening. Very good food at fantastic price. Brilliant views of surrounding countryside from terrace. Got a pizza to takeaway one nigh and it was even better than the ones served in restaurant. Really spicy Diavola, hottest I've ever had. Highly recommended.
