Very nice pub and worth a visit, great selection of beers and wine and not expensive, they also have nice selection of food for the clientele which is a nice touch.

I've never subscribed to the idea of irish bars overseas: it's a nonsense. However, Johnnie Fox is an excellent sports bar with many big screen TVs located around several bar areas over 2 floors showing non-stop sport from all over the world. The atmosphere on big game nights is excellent with big crowds but there is plenty of parking. The food served is simple but done well and there is of course a full range of pub drinks including Guiness (I guess this is the Irish Bar element!). For a fun night out with a group of friends to watch a big game this is the place to come in the local area.

Our B&B owner Mario (of Il Terrazzo) turned us on to this place in the nearby little village. Our dinner was FANTASTIC, and the service was superb. Had melon & prosciutto (melon was divine and the prosciutto was melt-in-your-mouth!) and a fresh pasta dish with parm cheese...delicious! The hubby had beef carpaccio and another homemade pasta dish with ragu. The fresh made pasta was perfection! We also enjoy a couple of 1/2 carafes of a local white wine and then a digestiv after dinner. The entire evening was a pleasure and it was probably 1 of our top 3 dinners over the course of our 3 weeks in Italy.

This is a very casual but nice wine bar in the center of Gallarate about 10 km. from the Malpensa Airport.The owners of the wine bar are very warm and friendly and will cater to the needs of the guests that arrive either for a drink, or whip up a nice dish of pasta. Just walk in and ask Michele, the owner of the wine bar, to prepare a dish for you with what he has in his fridge at that moment. They have a very nice wine selection, and prepare a buffet aperitif each night so you can snack on something while talking to the other guests that are relaxing after a long days work.They sometimes have music in the summer and have a nice patio where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The price is reasonable and service is very good.
