Although this is categorized in the Cheap eats the quality wasn't skimped. We had Pizza. They were freshly prepared, beautifully cooked and very very good. The friendly owner was quite surprised (and pleased) to find tourists in this little known area of Carnia but made us most welcome. I would highly recommend it My OH was pleased to report that it was the best pizza he has ever eaten!

Da alcuni anni partecipiamo al pranzo di Pasqua organizzato da Giorgio e Sabrina nel loro Ristorante 'Alla Posta' di Salino di Paularo. Anche quest'anno tutto è stato perfetto; I piatti erano ottimi, creati con cura dal cuoco Giorgio e la sala da pranzo è stata allestita con gusto da Sabrina e Maria Rosa. This restaurant offers a wide choice of traditional dishes and four pages of pizzas. Staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is good and prices are reasonable.The location close to the Tourist Office is central.Street parking is free for 2 hours at lunchtime.

Somewhat outside Tolemezzo next to a busy street and fuel station but still worth a visit and better then the tourist traps inside the town center. Lots of locals having lunch here. Size of the courses is mega. Single primo piati is sufficient for average guest. Pasta is excellent

A simple place with a good pizza. We were served by a nice and smiling girl. They have wide choice of pizzas with good prices. Pizza was baked quickly. They have wide choice of drinks. Good and cheap wine, beer and good coffee. A very nice dinner.

Arta Terme è un piccolo paese dellâalta Carnia dove, oltre a poter fruire delle cure nello stabilimento termale comunale, si possono godere spettacoli della natura a poche decine di km., oltre alle numerose spa degli alberghi della zona.Eâ possibile fare escursionismo nei boschi e, spostandosi in auto, si possono raggiungere in mezzora il monte Zoncolan (tremenda salita del Giro dâItalia) da Ravascletto e lo splendido laghetto di Cavazzo Carnico (o dei tre Comuni) con area picnic e possibilità di fare il bagno (occhio che lâacqua è molto fredda!).LâAustria è a circa 30km (di salita dura, però!) o a circa 70 da Tarvisio (dove câè la frontiera a tre con Austria e Slovenia); i centri maggiori viciniori sono Tolmezzo e Gemona del Friuli che, come è noto fu lâepicentro del devastante terremoto del 1976. Una sosta piacevole per ritemprarsi e respirare a pieni polmoni. Spero di poterci ritornare.

we were here for a dinner with our 2 small kids (2 month and 20 month) so definetly family friendly restaurant:)We ordered 2 course dinner with typical carnian dishes (definetly recommended special pasta with local herbs something unique to taste) and also palenta cheese dishes with deer meat superdeliciosus. As well all desserts are extremly tasty:)If in Sutrio a must visit:)

Locale moderno e gradevolmente arredato, discreta la birra alla spina ed ottima la pizza gourmet.Purtroppo, come note negative, il cameriere (sicuramente uno "stagionale" raccattato chissà dove) piuttosto antipatico e la grigliata troppo cotta (peccato avere una cucina "in vista" se poi non si è in grado di fare una semplice grigliata). Due settimane d'attesa x ricevere la fattura elettronica: decisamente troppolPeccato, le potenzialità ci sono. Con pochi e semplici correttivi si potrebbe fare ben di più.

The pizzas were very good and the service was quick. We went there with an Italian friend which assisted with the language translation as Arta Terme generally doesn't have a lot of English speakers. The desserts and coffee were good and the final cost was very reasonable.
